Nonsense, that's too adult for a game like this.
I suggest personal massagers.
I love how it's a "massager" and she's naked in the demo picture :v:
Jesus i cannot put into words how much i want to play this.
Jesus i cannot put into words how much i want to play this.
agreed, this thread had me at massager.
Snipped like hell.
I like how he shows all these fancy, high tech weapons and third to last we have a plain old axe.

I think the stick at the end is more noteworthy, then.
stick is op
nerf stick
stick is op

It's not OP, you just can't figure out how to counter stick-wielders yet.

Sprites look great. I hope the melee weapons have random traits assigned to them so it doesn't get dull.

they're all randomly generated!
weeee!

I want a space ax!
i wonder how progression is going to work though
i mean in terraria we had obvious tiers of better equipment, fighting stronger bosses etc
what happens in starbound when literally everything is randomised and procedural? it's much more sandboxy but it will get dull without progression
No touch damage, period, unless if the monster's given form is spiky, or have some sort of corrosive skin. Terraria's pissed me off because all enemies that did not use magic/ranged just ran into you, and never swung a single sword.

how would that work in 2D
every enemy could be avoided by just running past him
how would that work in 2D

Take the time to make enemies that actually ATTACK you. and Tiy's already mentioned that most enemies WILL have attack animations, rather than just bumping into them

Just because there's no touch damage doesn't mean that you'll be able to walk past the enemies.

I don't think Terraria's progression really did much for it. I beat hard mode once, and was like," Okay, I guess I did that."

with the randomness of weaponry it makes me think more towards a borderlands style of progression, gearwise. wouldn't be a bad thing. (i miss my old BL1 sniper rifle... "pele demands a sacrifice!")
oh god can i be a stick wielding juggernaut on servers?
oh god can i be a stick wielding juggernaut on servers?
dual wield sticks
acquire justice
I will use nothing but the stick and a cheap hand-gun
how would that work in 2D

Not sure how 2D factors into this. Would be easier to avoid an enemy in a 3D space than a 2D one.
I will use nothing but the stick and a cheap hand-gun
Craft them together to make a Boomstick.

To my understanding worlds will have danger levels and that'll max whatever weapons are spawned on that world.
I hope this game (if it's received well) will be updated more than terraria was. I loved terraria had more content updates come I would have happily played it for much longer and shelled out on expansion packs.
To my understanding worlds will have danger levels and that'll max whatever weapons are spawned on that world.
In that case, i'm going to try the hardest world I can find at the very start of the game.
i want a permanant death system in this
(able to be toggled, of course)

And die instantly.
I would think that they would not let you onto super hard worlds, until you're ready.

Terraria had it
