Is it me or are the starbound forums really bad? Every 2 posts there's someone begging for a cat race.
Not to mention the huge amount of huge pony sigs.
I don't care how cool the water and robot races look. I'm still going to make a purple apex and name him Grape Ape.

Is anyone else a little sad that they had so many original choices to make the six characters and they used up one choice with [i]a fucking monkey race[/i]? I mean, don't get me wrong, monkeys are great, but there's all these fantastic alien species that they could make and they just choose monkeys.. Hell, penguins would be better.

They won't be only six. There will be more races after release through updates.

Yeah, but with penguins there'd be the gripe that there's two avian races now. I would've preferred something different than monkeys too, like bears or something, but I got bird people so I'm happy.

I'm sort of sad that Cat-In-Mech apparently isn't gonna be a playable race, at least not initially. How things shape up for the aquatic race could be interesting though.
