My boyfriend utterly despises all bugs/arachnids (ESPECIALLY spiders) and will go out of his way to kill them. In turn, playing Pokemon, he avoids having a bug in his team at all costs. And lashes out with the most powerful attack his Pokemon has if he encounters one.
But he doesn't like hurting Joltik, because even he thinks it's bloody adorable.
If that doesn't say something about it's cuteness then nothing does. :v:
Anyone else have issues with leveling in Soul Silver or Heart Gold? I've gotten my seventh badge and all the enemies are around level 25-30, while most of my Pokemon are level 40+ (up to 61)
I haven't been grinding or anything
I had tons. I beat the game so I was trying to grind in the highest level place I could find so I could beat Red.
... I spent half a year doing it and I couldn't even get them to 70 in that amount of time. Eventually I gave up.

That's odd, I haven't been trying. Maybe it's because I never run from wild pokemon or use repels?
I only ran from the miniscule ones, and beat the shit out of every trainer I could find. Then went training in Mt. Silver and rematched every Gym Leader I could when they were available.
Oh well.

I didn't have any. All I had were EXP shares.
Though in Black I have three lucky eggs and quite a number of Pokemon at level 100 v:v:v

Legendaries aren't exclusive. Unless they changed that with Heart/Soul updates. I'll be honest, I haven't beaten Soul Silver yet, though I did beat the original. Other than that, yea wild pokemon exclusive are pretty much it.

Just checked serebi, Lugia/Ho-Oh aren't exclusive, but some of the others are such as Groudon and Kyogre.
Oh okay. I was going to get HeartGold because Gold was the first pokemon I ever played, but to be honest if it's pretty much the same in terms of areas and all that, I think I'll pick up SoulSilver just for Groudon
