I want to make a lot of designs with a minimal style like this but it feels like something's missing.

HG/SS skyrocketed.
HG/SS are what remakes have to be, but they still had some flaws, mostly dealing with bland region design and sucky wild Pokemon. I personally enjoyed Platinum far more, and all in all was a more solid game. And had move tutors THE WAY THEY HAVE TO BE, not Battle Points sinks.
And recycling the Frontier Brains, as well as not touching Leaf, Lorelei and Agatha are glaring errors.
Not bad in any case, but I wouldn't place them above Platinum. My opinion tho.
Walking Pokemon should be revisited and improved on, tho. And the Pokethlon is a good minigame. Now we need contests in the Ru/Sa way, and keep the dressup out of the way.
I have just one thing to say about gen 5 music.

ok maybe not that's my bad sorry, comparing them I can tell you did your own work
yeah the style I'm going for is [I]heavily[/I] influenced by TopHat's wallpapers from there but I'm doing everything myself
that's why I thought it was at first, but then I was actually comparing them instead of just assuming
it's kind of hard to make the same pokémon in the same pose in the same style look different enough that you did it on your own
i'd buy one of those in a second

What if the Gen I and II remakes only existed so that you could trade the pokemon from those regions into the modern games? From Gen III and onward all your pokemon could be sent to the next Gen.
That was the original reason gen1/2 remakes were made but I believe due to their popularity (esp hg/ss) they'll proabbly remake gen3 as well, since it's so dated compared to modern pokemon. Besides that, you can' ttransfer up if you have a DSI or 3DS, so gen3 is slowly getting phazed out.

We'll have to wait until the tenth anniversary of the games (2013, I believe) to find out
