I honestly can't stand competitive battles anymore. Every match, its all the same shit, and you see the same Pokemon in every fight, no matter what tier you play in. It's terribly unfun, even if I win.
I like to run silly/fun gimmicks. I run a surprise Expert Belt Lickilicky, Zen Mode Darminitan, and a Trick Room Duosion/ Expert Belt Rampardos combo. It grabs me a couple of wins here and there, but it doesn't deny the fact that nobody likes to play for fun like I do, but everyone just picks out of the overpowered grab bag and makes a team with movesets and strategies that they didn't even come up with themselves.
5th Gen/Dreamworld made this worse. It made some weaker pokemon who deserve a nice boost stronger, but it made some pokemon borderline ridiculous.

Most recent. Easily my best Pokemon one. Actually used the same base (legs, arms, torso) as the Bisharp.
Bisharp:
Probably the worst, and most time consuming. It's hard as hell finding the proper props!
Haunter:
The first Pokemon I did. Simple and easy. Hand only glows when the crowbar is being used.
Diglett:
It's a fucking Diglett. Has a pseudo dirt trail behind it when I move.
Update on that tournament ting I enterred.
Turns out it was a 2v2 tournament (OH GOD) so my team wasnt built around that at all.
I won 2 rounds, first against a kid, about 11, with a terrifying team. (Bisharp, Entei, Hydreigon, and some other crazy shit) but he didn't EV train so I rolled over him, poor guy.
Second was against one of my mates, close round, his team wa scary, it involved a gyarados with manectric, manectric used rain dance and had lightningrod which protected gyarados and gyarados tried to go on a sweep. I took out gyarados with my acrobatics gliscor and his team then kinda fell apart.
Then I got beaten by a sun team, ninetales with heat wave and fire gem ripped apart my volcarona and gliscor (he's offensive not defensive), while a cherrim on their team did jack shit even in sunlight. Nidoking fragged the ninetales and the cherrim, in hindsight I should have left the cherrim dead because it was less of a threat than flygon. Flygon killed the fuck out of my team, there was nothing I could do to it, since I hadn't had a chance to teach my nidoking ice beam, so it was GG.
One of my other friends got into the finals, but lost to a typical all legendaries bullshit team. (thunderos tornadus terrakion latios. Yeah.)
I enjoyed it, although I was a bit mad I got killed by a flygon considering nidoking could have easily dealt with it if I'd just fucking had ice beam (sadly I was too busy the last few weeks to actually put a team together properly, I had an overnight at work, got home and found out the tournament WAS THAT MORNING. IN THE CITY.)
Overall, fun, met a few cool people, and met a LOT of sad scary neckbeards. It's much more enjoyable with friends.
Also I got a mario hat for attending :D

It's not hard to pick 6 pokemon that are decent, about 75% of all pokemon are usable, in some form or another.
