If you get rid of Mewtwo you wouldn't have to deal with fresh off the boat Uber tierbies thinking they're hot shit challenging you with 6 Arceus.
I thought so, but just wanted to clarify. Also, the team I was using:
Metagross - Hammer Arm, Meteor Mash, Aerial Ace, Earthquake
Cincinno - Attract, Tail Slpa, Rock Blast, Bullet Seed
Sigilyph - Psyshock, Hypnosis, Ice Beam, Mirror Move
Haxorus - Swords Dance, X-Scissor, Dual Chop, Brick Break
Nidoking - Earthquake, Seismic Toss, Ice Punch, Rock Slide
Mewtwo - Energy Ball, Ice Beam, Shadow Ball, Recover
Yo, where are your set-up and support moves? It's all fully offensive aside from Mewtwo's recover.

I don't think he's a hardcore comp player
I approve, Mienshao is best pokémon. Can I use it?
Also, my internet has been out, so I've been playing Mystery Dungeon. It has the best music.

That god forsaken Groudon was a MAJOR pain in the ass to beat, despite my main character being squirtle and my partner Pikachu, who by the way learns infinitely helpful area attack that kicks extremely much ass in monster houses unless rock or ground types. In that case, I'm done for.

Cincinno has attract, and Sigilyph has Hypnosis. I still have multiple pokemon in a box, this is just my current setup.
Been thinkin about a reliable way to counter haxorus.
I think I came up with something, but it's pretty centralized, I need input on how to make it work against things that aren't haxorus.
K so what it is so far:
Aggron, 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 4 Def
Adamant
Life Orb
Rock Head (Maybe Sturdy?)
Moves:
Rock Polish
Head Smash
Protect?
Outrage (Gen4 Tutor)
Basically the idea is when he uses his haxorus to outrage, several things can happen:
You predict outrage, switch in aggron. Aggron takes 20-30% damage, then responds with outrage on the next turn, taking a further 20-30%, but taking haxorus with it, you can also attempt a rock polish but this is risky as if the haxorus finishes his outrage on that turn he can attempt to EQ/BrickBreak you, or switch to an aggron counter (not hard, anything fast.)
Alternatively, if haxorus' first outrage kills one of your pokemon, aggron can switch in for a revenge kill as haxorus can't switch out while outraging, and he'll do crap all damage.
The problems I see are you're likely trading aggron for haxorus, since aggron is stuck in outrage meaning the opponent gets 1-2 free turns to revenge kill aggron, you're also pretty centralized in that aggron is mainly good against haxorus/physical dragons.
On the other hand it's like 90% likely to kill the haxorus if you play it right, pretty much guaranteed if you try to revenge kill, and fairly likely if you predict and switch aggron in (most people just outrage with haxorus)
Curious to see peoples thoughts. I'm struggling to find a reliable answer to haxorus, ice priority can't knock out a haxorus that easily, bulky walls can only really hope to burn it or get chopped up by outrage and faster dragons are all well and good until you fight a choice haxorus.
Best Hax counter is a better dragon.
Choice'd Lat@s Draco meteor is holy-fuck-nuggets powerful.

Neither am I, but they're reeeeaaaallllyyyy useful even for singleplayer.
Try Druddigon as a Haxorus counter
Try Druddigon as a Haxorus counter
Poor ol' Druddy isn't fast enough :(
Why not Metal Burst? You're guaranteed to go last anyways.
Why not Metal Burst? You're guaranteed to go last anyways.
Haxorus outrage doesn't do much damage to aggron, that's why I picked him. The idea is aggron tanks the hit, kills haxorus then keeps pumping into the enemy team.

Sorry buddy, we're talking competitive here.
Now that I think about it, Skarmory basically forces Haxorus to run away, making it waste Dragon Dances and possibly coming in on rocks again.
What can skarmory do to haxorus.

Whatever sure but I'm pretty sure I have a newer version on my comp and if someone could gI've me some tips on how to shade the head area I could redo that area and at a slightly higher res

Okay then, Metagross? I have no idea... What's the difference between standard play and competitive? I just usually play by myself own on the ds. (Brother and sister are no competition.)

Metagross is all well and good but he can't really hurt haxorus that much back, haxorus will just switch out into something that's decent against metagross.
Haxorus is simultaneously fast, extremely powerful and has access to outrage, a 120 power move that's super effective against dragons and neutral against everything else except steel. Basically he rips anything to shreds that isn't steel and incredibly defensive, the problem is hitting haxorus back, even if you can tank a hit most of the time you can't tank 2 or 3 hits, and most pokemon can't hit him back that hard because he has decent defensive stats. Ice moves can shut him down but most ice types are frail, dragon moves can work but you have to go fast, and you can't switch a dragon into outrage to counter him, because they'll just get instagibbed.
Basically one of the few pokemon that can tank him for a decent length of time is aggron (assuming haxorus is scarfed, as 90% are). but I'm not entirely sure how valuable aggron can be on his own, it's all well and good to have a perfect counter to a specific pokemon but your counter has to function against a team that DOESNT have that specific pokemon, and that's a big issue with aggron.

Sit around being neutral or resisting pretty much anything Haxorus can throw at it with a good recovery move and a crapton of defense and HP. Either Hax burns out its PP while getting slowly chipped at with BRAAAVE BIIIIIRD or it gets the hell out of dodge.

Oak looks like he flies away instead of being tackled away if you look closely.
Also, just got wiped by a Kyogre.

Swap out Mewtwo and you won't have to fight him :v
You're on PO, right? I might dig up my old UU team and play with you, haven't played in like two months.
Some good rounds of PO tonight. Destroyed a bunch of noobs.
If I had a new pokemon for every time someone earthquaked my air balloon metagross I'd have filled half the pokedex by now.

I also had some good times with mah nidoking and a choice scarf kyurem.
You know it's funny that smogon let kyurem run around in OU (it dips down to uu now and then).
Seriously that special attack is ridiculous, with draco meteor, ice beam, focus blast and shadow ball it's won me more games than I care to imagine.
But it's balanced because stealth rock ;)
