There're quite a few examples of Eviolite abusers (Chansey, Dusclops, Porygon2, Magneton, Munchlax, Lickytung...), some more won't hurt :v:

Back up, who uses eviolite on Lickitung and Munchlax? Never seen that.
I personally slap it on Gligar for 500 defense and around 350 special. Adamant Weavile ice punches do about 40% damage, it's amazing.

Excadrill is banned in smogon/PO play, he's not restricted in official tournaments.
Samurott sucks, he's just not a good pokemon.
Volcarona is OP as shit, if it gets 1 quiver dance up the enemy team is fucked, it's piss easy to use just get quiver dances any time you think it's safe to, and you'll destroy enemy teams.
Tyranitar is good but you have to play him well, he also sets up sandstorm for a sandstorm team, he's not a good choice if you aren't making a sandstorm team, he's decently bulky but has a lot of weaknesses.
Darmanitan is easy mode give him a choice scarf/band and flare blitz, let him tear through the enemy team until they switch in something immune to fire.
Rotom is a good wall etc but I personally don't like him, no real comment there.
A good team should have 2 physical sweepers, 2 special sweepers and 1 special and 1 physical wall.
Obviously there's exceptions if you know what you're doing but that layout will get you on the right track.

Munchlax is pretty much like a lower-tier version of Chansey with Eviolite, and Lickytung is more bulkier than Lickilicky with it. I've not seen them as much as Chansey or Magneton but they're there
