Alright, thanks for the info. I assume once you max out the EVs you want for a pokemon, every time it levels up through battling the EVs will remain unaffected.
Also, one last question. Say I want to have a Speed/Attack Scizor. Should I max out it's Speed and Attack EVs when it's still a Scyther before evolving for maximum effect, or does it matter?
Doesn't matter. I know in DPPt you could gain evs at level 100, drop it in a box then take it out and they would then be applied.
Not sure if you still can.

So it could be possible to EV train level 100 pokemon in gen V unlike gen IV where stats get calculated every time you level up.

I've never managed to build a solid team in Black.
I slid past the E4 with a Scrafty but that was about it. I beat the game. Now I don't know what to do except get pummeled by trainers that are level 65+

Yeah, I understand what you mean. I just ended up importing all my Pokemon from HG/SS after I "beat" the game, and I just traveled the rest of the region with my old mons. Good times...

Hidden power shouldn't even be in the game, it's just bullshit.
You can't even predict hidden power, you're fighting like a fuckin alakazam with your volcarona, you know he has to switch out so you're either gunn abug buzz or quiver dance and then BAM. Hidden Power Rock, OHKO. LOL U MAD.

My original team got dissolved shortly after the E4. I didn't even start transferring my SS Pokemon till after I pretty much explored the rest of the region.
I kinda miss some of them, though my current team is probably better...

Its tough to get a good Hidden power, plus there are common Pokemon that carry it.
Hidden Power is needlessly obfuscated and it requires a stupid amount of time to create a legit system to reliably get the correct one. But then again I guess that's part of its "charm" considering without the whole grinding, Pokemon's post post game would be dreadfully barren.

The whole system is put in place to make it "fair" somehow that a pokemon can get a random coverage move it really really shouldn't.
If pokemon needed the most random crap coverage moves, it should be in the movepool, it's bullshit that there's a move that can be of any type in the entire game on 99% of pokemon, you literally can't predict hidden power unless it's on one of maybe 10 specific pokemon that really need hidden power to work.
Speaking of Hidden Power, I still can't believe that they didn't make that Glyph bird Pokemon that they added in Gen V the evolution to Unknown. It would have made Unknown infinitely better than it is now.
Well they made it so all of B/Ws pokemon were standalone, none of them relate to any previous gens iirc

Hey guys, I've been trying the Nuzlocke challenge these past few days and I'm really getting tired of playing the same games over and over again. Could anyone recommend maybe some kind of a hacked pokemon rom, where the map and pokemon location and trainers and everything is different, a new experience basically. I'd appreciate if it was a rom played by lots of other people who can say they enjoyed it, I want something with a high quality, not some cheap amateur stuff.
