Anyone have a moveset that they prefer for Aggron? Sure, I could just use Smogon, but I do like to hear people's preferences every now and again.

Oh hey, I just realized that I have over 1,000 posts. Go me, I guess...

Salty from my recent Emerald run has Iron Tail, Iron Defense, Protect, and Take Down. He got raped in the E4 many times so don't use that moveset.
Rock Head Head Smash to smash fools
Ever wonder what its like on the inside of a pokeball?
http://danbooru.donmai.us/pool/show/4074
On aggron I use either:
Choice Scarf
Head Smash
Earthquake
Dragon Tail
Waterfall
Alternatively:
Life Orb
Head Smash
Rock Polish
Protect
Earthquake
Although a set I'm thinking of playing with is:
Focus Sash
Metal Burst
Rock Polish
Head Smash
Earthquake/Protect
All w/ rock head.
The last one I'm not sure about as I haven't tried it, I like the idea of metal burst from a 1hko against faster pokemon, alternatively rock polish can kick so much ass it's not funny. The problem is which do you choose? In one sense you can use the appropriate move for the appropriate enemy pokemon (e.g. a pokemon that's really going to fuck your shit if not checked ASAP, or rock polish if you expect a switch), but on the other hand once you've rock polished you can't really metal burst any more because your sash is broken, or if they switched you're faster than most pokes (metal burst fails if you go first for some fucking stupid reason)
That's just me though. For ingame I'd go with the scarf build if he's fighting shit around his level, and the life orb build if he's like 15 levels higher than everything else.
Air balloon might be an idea but honestly he's still 4x weak to fighting so it's kinda fucking retarded anyway innit.
You mean Choice Band rather than Scarf.

Real Eevee teams use Flareon and not that Vaporeon knockoff made just to not introduce the overdue Grass evo alone.
I haven't played pokemon in a long time now. I already played the crap out of Soul Silver and White. I'm just waiting until I think I can play again without getting bored too quickly.
You mean Choice Band rather than Scarf.
No I mean choice scarf, unless you're setting up trick room aggron needs all the god damn speed he can get. With scarf he gets up to 320~ which is just barely enough to outspeed a lot of the important pokemon that would normally outspeed and ohko, and lets him ohko instead. 120 power rock move off 110 base attack is a fuckload, you don't generally need much more, and if the target resists the hit then aggron should be getting the fuck out of there.

Flareon is useful for literally nothing more than a free switch. I'd rather use Sunkern because atleast that thing has novelty value.

Oh wait, how could I forget his remix on Primal Dialga? This is fucking amazing is what this one is.
It's only a shame that the song wasn't in the mainline games. It's an amazing song, and probably the best pokemon song/remix ever made.

I find it amusing that the remix has 15 times more views than the actual song.
Fans do some crazy remixes, too.

I think this is my favorite that this guy has done.

I know PRS, but I kinda prefer Jace's remixes a bit more.
Gorebyss quite simply has more offensive potential.
Gorebyss gets the advantage of having more powerful moves compared to Huntail.
For example Surf/Hydro pump/Ice beam/HP grass compared to Crunch/Waterfall/Return.
This combined with the fact that Gorebyss has 114 sp.atk compared to Huntails 104 attack makes him infinitely superior for anything other then a mixed sweeper.
They have pretty similar moves, but yeah, Gorebyss does better if you want a special sweeper instead of mixed
But I mean just ShellPass: they both have the same defenses and speed, and the attack stats don't matter much since you're pretty much only going to use those two moves. Then why is Gorebyss still preferred over Huntail? :v:

I've seen a lot of Gorebysses throwing surf around defensively, I'm guessing it's that.
Well in an emergency your shellpasser might have to attack, or attack before it passes, or maybe it's just better to hit the enemy really hard now to 1hko a big threat or simply surprise factor.
A lot can happen while baton passing, I used to run a solrock for baton passing calm minds and rock polishes and he occasionally had to pull out the flamethrower/psychic to put down some setup my opponent was trying.

When I had a disabling/sub passing Lopunny I often had Focus Punch on it for good measure.
Are they ever going to make a pokemon mystery dungeon with black/white pokemons?
I'd like to play that.
Demand doesn't seem too high for that kind of game but who knows, I would look forward to playing it.
Never have enough Litwick

Unless you really need the extra physical team mate gorebyss is quite simply better because of the higher base power moves and the slighly higher attacking stat. That combined with the fact that if you want to run substitute you essentially become a mono attacker and then that extra bit of power is quite necessary.
Only niche that huntail really gets that is worth it is the 20% flinch chance that comes with waterfall.

I don't need my heart broken again ;_;
Mystery dungeon is darker than normal pokemon games and it looks like it's aimed at younger kids.
Japan's fucked up yo.
