In my opinion it's worse when your partner is of the opposite gender.

It's just perfection how everything plays out. Incredibly heartbreaking though.
didn't play any of those
I really hated how evolution is such a bitch in that series.
And getting team mates you actually wanted was hell as well.

Play Explorers of Sky.
Alright, just giving a little shout-out for the next set of physical badges coming from PKMN Badges, this time it's the Sinnoh set:

How do you know that for sure? It's Pokemon related being posted in the Pokemon thread.
Biodude is thinking about them for his birthday
why spend 35 bucks on replica badges when you can spend your 35 dollars on the new pokemon games
~*collectibles and bragging rights*~
Besides new Pokémon games are like $90 bucks here.

I have 10.5 sq feet of plasticard, modeling putty, paints and a gloss dip
I think I could make my own if I wanted.

Do you feel the same for all collectible things based upon games?
Just curious :v:

do it
I'll just enjoy my metal badges with pins on the back that don't feel cheap.
How much d'you think Sealed copies of Yellow, Blue, Red, Gold, Silver, and Crystal would run me for?
I want to keep them in a vault, and once they're like 50-60+ years old, I can take them out in near mint condition.

Keep them.
Keep them.
Oh, I don't own them, I meant to buy them. I've got a sealed copy of Blue somewhere, but I cannot find it sadly, so i'm thinking about buying all of them in bulk once I get a job. Of course i'd keep them permanently, Pokemon WILL be my children's first game.
they wont work anyway, each cartdrige has a little internal battery inside that lets you save, and by now all of those are supposed to be dead, and even if you didn't mind that, every year that passes leaves less and less functional consoles to use them on
then again, there is some weird people out there

I've got a sealed special Pokemon Special Edition Gameboy Color, an Original Gameboy sealed too. I don't know why the copies of Blue, Red, and Yellow + Johto games wouldn't work, I've still got my original Blue and Yellow, they work fine with their original batteries.
I would just like to say that it is possible to replace the batteries in those old cartridges. I even did it a couple times for my old Crystal version, before the connectors (you know, the things that relay the data from the cartridge to the GB) began to wear out.
The only thing wrong with that though is you're wanting to keep them in as mint condition as possible, opening them up and replacing the batteries with new ones would remove some of their value, even though it would seem like the right thing to do.

Playable > Original dead batteries.

Sounds like a challenge to me.

Tip: You either have to be really careful or have a soldering iron. The battery is welded to the clip.
I still have my original battery in my Pokemon Yellow and it still works
and I'm playing it more now
I still have my copies of RBYGSC. Red has a 100% Pokédex save on it (I believe I used the Missingno. glitch to get rare candies because grinding was too much of a chore), Blue is absolutely broken, Yellow should still work, I believe both Gold and Silver have dead batteries, and Crystal works fine.
I have a gameboy colour and a Pokemon Yellow that still works.
My Gold and Silver's batteries died, yet Crystal is fine
However the time battery thing in my Ruby has died, idk about the others because I can't find them
hell yeah just found this in my basement
