maybe he doesn't want to play are you forcing him to play or something
No, he wants to play, he just isn't doing it right (and he knows he's doing something very wrong!!!) and it's making him upset every time he loses, and I don't like seeing him the least bit upset, so I'm trying to get him to do something about it so he can enjoy the game instead of constantly getting irritated at it. He wants to fight me but he knows he'll get his ass handed to him in his current state.
tell him to stop being stubborn and leave it at that
or tell him he's acting like a 7 year old
I tried to tell him that he's stubborn but his skull tends to be extremely thick. And it's hard to listen to someone complain about something they can easily fix, and they won't do it. (Though I'm kind of a hypocrite on that... Since I used to do such things...) I end up snapping and going into a big 30 minute long rant and nothing I ever say about it phases him. ... I'm just gonna give up, pretty evident by now that he's not going to listen to me. If I tell him he's acting like a 7 year old he'll get angry at me and I don't want that.
Or let him continue his own play-style. If he gets easily upset when losing then video games probably isn't his kind of thing.
then leave him be, just don't be in the room anymore when he plays pokemon

Don't want to go too far off topic but I suppose both of you are of similar age? managed to breed an adamant nature zigzagoon to use as a belly drum linoone, the only problem is that its female and has the pick-up ability instead of the gluttony ability. Do you guys think I should go ahead or just breed until I get a male adamant zigzagoon with gluttony?

Get him to play Jade Cocoon (hard to come by a physical copy but there are other methods). It's similar enough to Pokemon with capturing monsters but not as grindy. Otherwise find a video playthough or something of the main storyline (seems to be the only thing that interests him) and be done with it. OKAY, I will talking about the badges I recently got. PKMN Badges is doing a re-run of the Kanto set PLUS re-designing them to be more faithful to the games/anime. Plus if enough people are interested he will be doing a set of Gary's extra kanto badges (that's seven badges from the anime only as well as the Test Badge, making it a set of eight) alongside the Kanto ones. It's these ones by the way: Twitter Facebook

I'm younger then he is by around 3 years. Though we act around the same age. ... Except maybe he's a little more immature but meh. He says the only reason he plays any game is the storyline. If the storyline is boring he will not play it, even if it's fun to play. I seriously, do not understand how his mind works. Thanks for the suggestion.
Okay, trudging through battle frontier to earn BP for EV training items is a chore. Is there a good way to hoard BP fast in SS/HG without battling 7 trainers for 3 measly BP?
I now require a case to house my badges, considering putting my background experience in woodwork to make a custom one.
I went on the internet and:
Anyone know where to find any good Pokemon fanfictions without wading through copious amounts of terribly written stories and porn?
Found THIS. oh yeah many pages in and this looks promising already
Tell him to never speak of Pokemon to you ever again unless he explicitly states he wants to finish the game and listen to your superior experience.
So how do I order these?
Email pkmnbadges@yahoo.co and say that you would like to order a set of the Kanto badges. He'll guide you through the process. If you also say you are interested in the Gary badges too then it'll be one more person wanting them. Oh and it's $35 USD w/worldwide shipping per set of eight. [editline]3rd February 2012[/editline] Subscribe to his Twitter or friend him on Facebook for the latest updates, he recently asked which version of the Cascade badge we would like the most: [t]http://s1-03.twitpicproxy.com/photos/full/508280674.jpg[/t]
Gluttony really is that good, but isn't necessary if you choose Silk Scarf instead of Salac Berry.
Lum > Salac You're gonna be using ExtremeSpeed mostly anyway.
Lum > Salac You're gonna be using ExtremeSpeed mostly anyway.
Yeah, about that. ExtremeSpeed Linoone was apparently a special Linoone you could get through some gamecube pokemon game and transferred over to a GBA game. There's no way for it to learn extremespeed naturally through move tutor or breeding.
Person with the boyfriend thing, tell him to run back and forth next to grass until he sees it shake, then walk into it. Audino training is faster that normal grinding.
Got one of those gnarly Gameboy players for the Gamecube, so I'll be replaying some of what's left of my collection. Should I go for Emerald or Leaf Green first? [thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/The_Gamecube-now_an_actual_cube.JPG[/thumb]
Done right, you dont need to grind.
This, if you don't avoid trainers or flee wild battles you can perfectly have your team in good shape. Doing that I got a whole team of pokemon above level 57 just after beating the elite four in Pokemon White for the first time.

Crobat is a boss.
I That Like Hear You CROBAT
Sweet, looks like I'll be getting a set of Johto badges as well: [t]http://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/298333_109268489180954_100002934115471_62408_1946598048_n.jpg[/t]

Gonna run through black again and actually make the grind after the elite 4. What starter is a challenge as I have only done it once and I chose Snivy to start.
