Question on conquest, can I just do a single episode, grind up all of them, then steamroll and beat anyone who looks at me funny in the other episodes? Also, what episodes has you as an enemy warlord/possible ally?
Wondering, is N part christmas tree
I got so excited when I first saw Zapdos I threw my masterball at it
In Ruby I threw my masterball at a tropius. Mainly because I had never seen one before and it was some badass dinosaur plant thing. No regrets. :v:

Could I just redo a unite all episode, and grind the hell out of it(evolve anything, besides pineshit), then do the other episodes, or do they not allow you do redo a completed episode?
I've never really used tactics in a Pokemon game. I just go through with the whole "If it doesn't cause damage, it's terrible!" mindset.
Same here. Though I attempt not to have the same type of Pokemon in my team unless it's second type nullifies super effective moves on the other by making them non-damaging or just normal damage, E.G. Ground/Flying nullifies electric moves so I could have another flying type in my team if I wanted to. I'm also a big STAB abuser so I rarely have any strategic moves. Mostly just all moves are the same type as the user, or two moves are the same as one of it's types, and the other two are the same as the other type E.G. Ground/Flying (again) has Air Slash, Sky drop, Earthquake and Magnitude. Though sometimes I will have other type moves outside of it's type setting just for universal purposes. And then once in a blue moon I have a Pokemon in my team that knows all different type moves to cover weaknesses I don't have on any other Pokemon. But other then that... No strategy. Just endurance and hard-hitting. And then there's those times where I go insane and have a mono-type team for shits and giggles. Beat the E4 once in Black with an all Rock or Ground type team. It was fucking nuts.
I remember my first pokemon game, yellow. I remember my team... I'm doing a replay of Ruby (lot of long car rides recently), just realized I forgot to get the masterball in the magma hideout. To make things worse, the internal battery is dead so the lottery is out of the question.
God, I just looked how how to IV breed. Shit looks terribly boring and painstaking. Pbbbth. To be honest, I hate IVs. Natures and EVs are fine, as they allow for customization. But IVs are purely luck based and could make your Pokemon absolute garbage compared to another one of the same breed, nature, and effort value spread. Doesn't exactly seem fair.
Makes breeding worthwhile for more than just egg moves.

They are, all in all, not that important. Nature and EVs make a FAR stronger impact. Except Speed, Speed is the crucial stat in everything.

Rayquaza and the Regis were played like Mewtwo and the birds in RBY, while Groudon and Kyogre got the Ho-Oh/Lugia treatment, and the Latis were like the beasts. What I don't like is having legends in mundane places, like Uxie (a trascendent being, part of the fabric of the universe) being in the middle of a town. Make a HUGE world, and then you can go full on legend mode.
so...what's new peoples?
Mewtwo's new model having too small of a head and eyes, and being too purple.

For me, it's mostly about EVs. I'll do whatever I can about that. People really seem to get obsessive compulsive about having "perfect" Mons.
I get obsesive. That's why I just AR up an egg with the IVs, nature, ability and moves I want, then raise it, rather than doing grinding. I am playing for fun and by myself, so I'll just enjoy it.
Makes breeding worthwhile for more than just egg moves.
You can pass down natures too.
"Every Pokemon is different, even of the same species and the same level". There has always been those 30-31 stat points of fluctuation. Except Speed, Speed is the crucial stat in everything.
Point fluctuation makes a shit ton of difference, I'm not sure how anybody could think otherwise. That fluctuation is the difference between a close call and a KO. Didn't IVs use to be 0-16? That was a lot more fair, to be honest. Sixteen points in differentiation is a lot more forgiving than if you have a 0 IV stat compared to an opponent's 31.
They were 0-15 (16 values), but each IV accounted for 2 stat points at level 100. So a single IV made a difference at level 50, they were twice as important, and were used in stuff like gender, shinyness and Unown form. If anything, they give more room now. And luck also does. Having a single point in attack or defense won't save you from a badly timed damage roll, a 10% crippling side effect, or a critical. HP matters for fixed damage deals and recovery, and speed is usually organiced in tiers anyway.
Found this on the B/W2 Hoenn gym battle theme.
