HOLY FUCKING SHIT I JUST FOUND A SHINY MANKEY AND MANAGED TO CATCH IT AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Keep it a Magicarp. Red Gyarados lost its charm when it became guaranteed shiny in Heart Gold/Soul Silver.
Golden FLAILING
[editline]I BET THE JEWS DID THIS[/editline]
Er, uh, I mean MANKEY
EVOLVE IT INTO A MIGHTY PRIMAPE

What. Since when does Mankey evolve in to magikarp?
time to get glasses
Am I the only one who hasnt ever encountered a single shiny in any game? Because i've been playing since Gold and Silver and i've never ever found a shiny anything.
I can relate, sort of. Besides that Wurmple, my childhood was absolutely Shiny free. Lately, I've been hunting them, though. Those four Shinies I have were all found within the past three months. So I guess I just decided to do something about it. If you do do that, though, I need to warn you about how agonizingly boring it is.

...I already wear glasses. :(

Have fun being called Six-Eyes?
Seriously, though. That post really made me miss Bad Reading, and I haven't even been here that long.
(Although, I did lurk when it was around.)

I am sorry... I am shameful.
I must commit... SEDOKU
It was a while back, but I was training shit in conquest. An enemy goes into the poison terrain to attack one of them. Said opponent can be affected with poison, and has really low hp.
Also, I had to deal with thieves, even though the place they were in had an army, including [sp]MT and Reshi, think you know how that went, and what they are called.[/sp]
About shinies, the only shinies I found were from trades. Not counting the one in lake of rage.

No, dill. This is the pokemon thread. He must commit Pokedoku.
I hope Gen 6 uses the models from the 3D Pokedex, but I'm not gonna get my hopes up...
Also, no more Fire/Fighting.
How's about mixing shit up?
Water/Dark
Grass/Fighting
Fire/Psychic

Why not Water/Rock and Grass/Flying? Agreed with Fire/Psychic though.
;37046741']Why not Water/Rock and Grass/Flying? Agreed with Fire/Psychic though.
Because Dark -> Psychic -> Fighting -> Dark
Like Water -> Fire -> Grass -> Water
Because Dark -> Psychic -> Fighting -> Dark

Why not reverse the cycle in the secondary types?
Grass/Dark
Fire/Psychic
Water/Fight
or
Grass/Fight
Fire/Dark
Water/Psychic
I'd love to see one of those in Gen VI
I rather not have models in gen VI. Imagine how fucking long it'd take to go through a cave, even fleeing the attacks. Keep them for Stadium-like games (not PBR-like games, tho).
Collosseum was tedious as fuck, so please keep at least for another gen the sprites. Sprites are awesome, fuck everything having to be 3D models.
There's a new [sp] pokestar in B&W2 [/sp] and I always wondered what they are about. Infact, it's about [sp] Making movies [/sp] of a sort of pokemon battle. Here's more
[sp]After you have created the movie for the first time, you have the ability to enter the movies with your own Pokémon. However, if you deviate from the script, say things out of character but don't fail the mission, then you will get the "Strange" ending of the movies. An example would be defeating Brycenman's Pokémon within the "Brycenman Strikes Back" movie.
If you do this successfully, your Pokémon will become a star, and will have a special intro animation that will show a star bouncing upwards as the Pokémon enters battle. This is a very rare sight for now so be sure to accomplish the movie missions in your own way.[/sp]
Known about this for months chap. Sorry :/
What's up with Assist and Challenge Mod being, at first, available on one game? http://serebii.net/black2white2/assistchallengemode.shtml

They ALMOST did that with Gen 4.
Torterra has Ground over Fire, Infernape has Fighting over Steel, and Empoleon has.... *cough*. OH BUT HEY, HE CAN LEARN ICE BEAM, RIGHT? that doesnt count almost every water type can learn ice beam

I wonder why they went with Fire/Fight in Gen V instead of Water/Fight, since well, the final evolution of it was basically a fucking samurai narwhal.
And about the challenge/assist mode, too bad you can't use them immediately(without using the IR thing/linking). Would have made it a little harder.
Well gen 4.
Spiritombs ghost/dark makes him invincible.
Also, I thing they went to far with gallade's type, which is Psychic Fighting.
How do you combine the weakness of fighting into one type?
spiritomb is not invincible
Spiritombs ghost/dark makes him invincible.
Spitombs with Wonder Guard only exist in your nightmares, chill out :v:
List of contradictory Pokemon types
i pray he copied that list and didn't take the time to think out all of the pokemon and type them up.
Talking about pokemon typings... I'd like to see more new typing combinations on the next gen
What are the ones you'd like to see the most?
In my case: Ghost/Fight, Bug/Ice, Dragon/Poison and Fight/Flying
