i pray he copied that list and didn't take the time to think out all of the pokemon and type them up.
I pretty much just thought up of all the ones I could off the top of my head, and then went through the National Pokedex and picked the rest out.
Bug/Ice
This looks like the most possible one to me.
This looks like the most possible one to me.
Double weak to rock and fire. Takes quadruple rocks damage, Heatran eats it alive...
Nah, I'd rather have Ghost/Fighting.
Even more interesting would be Ghost/Normal. Immune to your own type :v:
Does anyone else find it funny that the pokemon centers always hope that you see them again?
It's as if they want your pokemon to get hurt.
It also means you didn't get yourself killed
Talking about pokemon typings... I'd like to see more new typing combinations on the next gen
What are the ones you'd like to see the most?
In my case: Ghost/Fight, Bug/Ice, Dragon/Poison and Fight/Flying
Wasn't it originally planned that Wargle was going to be a Fighting Flying type, so that it would be even more-so a parallel to Mandibuzz? I mean, an eagle that represents America's colors sure sounds like it would be a fighting type. May have just been a rumor though.
As for unused types, I always thought that a Fire/Water type based off of steam/vapor would be pretty cool. Or a Grass/Fire type. Ghost/Fighting has always seemed like a possibility to me as well.
Not sure if this has been posted here yet.

Prequel to Generation 1? Could be fascinating.
Well gen 4.
Spiritombs ghost/dark makes him invincible.
Also, I thing they went to far with gallade's type, which is Psychic Fighting.
How do you combine the weakness of fighting into one type?
get on our level scrub gen3 up in this bitch sableye had dark ghost before spiritomb and he has one of the best abilities in the game: prankster and he's perfectly balanced.
[editline]3rd August 2012[/editline]
On the topic of types I'd like to see:
I'd like to see non legendary:
Fire Steel
Rock Fighting
Dragon Steel
And I'd like to see:
Steel ghost.
Ghost normal
Grass Fire
Electric Fire (rotom doesnt count he only gets one fire move)
and finally I'd like to see:
A bulky electric type (seriously they have amazing resistances.)
a priority rock move. (anyone who disagrees should go play against a volcarona and give it one turn of setup.)
Not sure if this has been posted here yet.
probably never going to get finished
This looks like the most possible one to me.
Something based on a Giant Weta or a giant isopod would work with that typing

Thanks for that, might add something special for the guys in my PTA.

Ice/Bug types confirmed.
Also, I tried making a by-the-books Dream Team.
I checked Bulbapedia for the ones with the best stats and moves, I EV Trained, I got the natures down (I have 3 or 4 PC boxes full of reject Slowpokes).
And you know what?
IT WAS BORING.
So yeah, I'm going back to the old plan: get a well-balanced team of Pokemon that I like, beef em up with some mild EV Training and focus on how effectively I can make the moves work in tandem in double battles.
So far, my current team consists of Braviary, Scrafty, Volcarona, Slowpoke (will be Slowbro), Tangela (will be Tangrowth), and Axew (will be Haxorus).
I may just replace Axew with Zweilous (will be Heidreigon), but I'm not sure.
A dragon will fill the last spot for sure though.
Seeing as you already have a Dark type in Scrafty, I say stick with Haxorous.
How do you plan on utilizing your Tangrowth?

Dunno, I never really used it before.
I figured I'd do what I normally do in such a situation, give it an all-around good moveset, then test its particular strengths in the Battle Subway.
But I'll probably load it up with some status/healing moves, make it a good-all around with some hints of an annoyer.
I really want to see a bug-dark type, or a water-fire type.
OK, so I restarted White and I'm training my pokemon for the second gym leader.
My team is:
Oshawott, level 23
Porygon, level 20 (this seems like the worst choice of my team so far since I can't find an Upgrade until post-E4)
Dratini, level 21 (traded; knows extremespeed)
Timburr, level 19
And I plan to add to the team:
Dwebble
Any suggestions? (I'll post my friend code later if anyone wants it.)
A bulky electric type (seriously they have amazing resistances.)
Eelektross can be fairly bulky. I love that thing in Doubles, with Levitate it can pull off Discharge while a Ground-type partner uses Earthquake. Eelektross is unscathed. Also, because of Levitate, it has no weaknesses.
Zapdos and Thundurus can pull this off too, but they are still weak to Rock and Ice, which includes Stealth Rock, and less commonly, Blizzard, which may fuck up your Ground-type, too.

A Volt Absorb / Motor Drive partner is also cool, I love using a Lanturn for that role

Take a look at the data of what behaves like a Pokemon in Ghost Eraser 4.

I think the point of that scene is using Soak so you can attack that thing with grass and electric moves
Yup, and Mummy so it gets rid of wonder guard, AND Slaking gets rid of taunt.
It is still a Mew-tier thing imprevious to direct damage. Spiritomb is bulky with less HP and slighty better defenses.

God damn the male protagonist would've looked so much better if they made him wear that casual outfit instead of sun visors and athletic spandex.
I just want a non legendary dragon that looks like a dragon in the next gen please
Hydreigon is pretty damn dragon-y
Hydreigon is pretty damn dragon-y
I can't be the only one who named it "Ghidorah", right?
And I too would like a dragon that looks closer to a traditional dragon instead of "big thing that doesn't really fit any other theme but looks a little like a bird crossed with a dinosaur so it's a dragon I guess".
but that's boring
Eh, boring can be good sometimes.
Look at Snorlax.
It's a nice, simple design.
And yet...
It's BRILLIANT.
It's so original in its simplicity. That's how most of the original Pokemon were, and I feel that's been slightly lost with the newer gens.
But I got flamed and dumb'd to oblivion the last time I implied that some of the newer designs were too cluttered, so I'll say no more.

Nah, if you've got a legitimate opinion, then you have a legitimate opinion. I only really care about the people who don't have reasons other than nostalgia.
how is that brilliant
the original pokemon had simpler designs because the graphics of the gameboy were more limited in what it could display
even so the later designs aren't that complicated anyway so you're basically just pulling that opinion out of your ass
This image comes to mind:

But like I said, last time I brought this up, I got flamed and dumb'd to shit and beyond, so I'll keep my opinions to myself.
