What I always find silly is the people who are like "Nintendo can't make a 3ds game without making one for the DS because that's not fair." Come on, the DS is like seven years old. I've barely touched my 3ds and it definitely needs some 3d pokemon goodness to liven it up.
I'm pretty sure Gen VI is going to be 3DS-exclusive, we'll know by sure in 2014
I'm finding it hard to think about how they would present the next gen games, at least storywise.
After D/P/Pl they introduced Space, Time, Lake-Guardians based on Knowledge, Emotion, and Willpower and the God of all Pokémon and anything to top that was practically unthinkable, the whole Ideals and Truths thing in Gen V works well but what could/will they do next.
I thought of something...
What kind of Pokemon would David Bowie have?
This picture sums up very well how I feel when I lose a Wi-Fi match that goes by the book: No legendaries, no Ubers.
Because Articuno is much more of a game-centering threat than Politoed or Tyranitar.

Nod to "Space Oddity"?

That incredible feeling when you and your ragtag group of underdogs manage to smoke some douchey little kid using hacked shinies and stock legendaries.

Wiping some kid's Arceus with Linoone and having him immediatly quit is the best thing.
I had a battle with my friend, and he had all legendary on his team.
*before gen 5 in ss* I had my shiny gallade, and I beat the crap out of every legendary he had (articuno, entei, mewtwo, *iforgot*, lugia,) except for arceus. I did pretty high damage to arceus than I fainted. I sent out my Raichu to do the rest. Also bonus note: his arceus had a water plate.
So I just found out Torchic's Dream World Ability is Speed Boost.
Mother of christ.
I don't think DW Torchic is even available yet but if it is I really want one.
Also, I decided to play my old copy of Ruby, which was my first Pokemon game. I was greeted with a message saying that the internal battery had died and time-based events would no longer occur.
I went to the Space Center where they informed me that there had been 9999 successful launches, meaning either I'd owned the game for nearly 200 years or the battery dying made that number go up to the top for whatever reason.
Man, I really hope they remake Ruby and Sapphire. Maybe I'm kind of a whippersnapper but those are the games I have nostalgia for.
oh my god I hope you can turn off that voice in the pokedex 3d
I will literally dip my balls in butter and call them coconuts if I ever bump into a shiny Ralts with a favorable nature.

According to the comments you can't.
Wiping some kid's Arceus with Linoone and having him immediatly quit is the best thing.
to be fair linoone is pretty unstoppable the first time you encounter it because you have no idea what it does.
Your only hope is a ghost type with priority once the bellydrum is up, or a sturdy/sash user.
I will begin calling Focus Sash "Sass Belt" from now on.
Why? Because the Pokemon wearing it will have his willehs sustained for long enough time for them to be freed.
I used to think Moltres was the most powerful Pokemon ever.
Then I got into Pokemon strategy.

Articuno For Life.
I used to think that pokemon were just beanie babies when I first played it.
I thought Tyranitar evolved into Lugia, since Lugia came next in the Pokedex and they had the same facial structure.
But when I was even younger, I assumed that Arbok evolved into Pikachu.
My earliest memory of pokemon was pissing my friends off by calling it "pokey man." I hadn't played the games or watched the show yet. All that changed the moment I did. :v:
I remember the day I learned about Pokemon.
My friends next door were outside playing with those bitchin' keychains (you know the ones, the Pokeballs with figures inside).
I asked them "what's that?".
They flipped their shit that I had never heard of Pokemon, took me inside, and we spent the whole day watching VHS tapes of the first season.
A few years later, the same exact thing happened with Yu-Gi-Oh.
"Hey, what's that?"
"YOU'VE NEVER HEARD OF YU-GI-OH?"
*watching an episode*
"This is boring, they're just playing a card game."
"WAIT FOR IT..."
"I SUMMON MY GREAT MOTH!"
*hologram*
"WHAAAAAAT THE FUUUUUUUCK? THIS IS SO FUCKING AWESOME."
Ah, good times...
Who's ready to watch the VGC CHAMPIONSHIPS LIVE (with live commentary!!!) today / tomorrow?!?
Woah, Japan is already churning out event Genesects. Well, they will be this weekend at least. That's got to be like a record for the most event pokemon reveals in one year.

Also it'll just be rain teams forevar.
3DS has a really good library at the moment, but an exclusive Pokemon game with some cool 3D goodness wouldn't be amiss in the slightest.
That's why, I bet about a year (year and a half at most) after B&W2 releases, we'll get a Pokemon Stadium-esque game for 3DS, WiiU, or both.
I would fucking kill for pokemon stadium on the 3DS

The 3DS has a memory card.
I could totally see this happening.

Has anyone played Pokemon Conquest? I watched a video to determine its worth but I'm on the fence about it. The video I watched had the player only use Eevee, can you use any Pokemon you want?

You can link with most pokemon but I think some are off limit to certain characters. Honestly I was underwhelmed by the game and never got around to beating it due to boredom.
