i played it for a good 4 hours and have already bore myself that being said i was grinding alot
Yeah, I probably played it for about that long before I shut it off. (I was playing my bro's copy of the game, so I couldn't save.) When I had finished playing, I had conquered the surrounding towns, and had just taken the electric area. All together, not bad. It's just not something I can sit down all day playing (see: Portal 2, Pokemon HG/Black, Castlevania: PoR).
You can get it if you want, but it is not that great. Anyone wondering if they will change the [sp]whole someone ordering a certain legendary to kill you[/sp] in the EU/US releases?
I havent been following the new story, can you explain that in more detail?
Remember that complete monster in BW? [sp]Was actually smart enough to actually order a legendary to attack you directly, and tried to kill you in B2W2.[/sp]
Remember that complete monster in BW? [sp]Was actually smart enough to actually order a legendary to attack you directly, and tried to kill you in B2W2.[/sp]
That's the only thing that really stood out for me story-wise. I thought the story in BW was the best, though.
Opened my first Dragons Exalted and got a Terrakion EX

I'm slowly understanding EV training, I'm making short summary, correct me if wrong: When you battle a Pokemon that has, say, 1 Effort Point in Attack stat; You must battle and defeat said pokemon four times to get 4 Attack Effort Points. Every 4 Effort Points you get to the same stat, you'll get +1 in your Pokemon's stat upon level up. If you have battle 12 Pokemon with 1 Effort Point in Attack before level up, you get +3 Attack upon level up. Am I on the right track?
So I just picked up a used copy of SoulSilver. Been having a ton of fun reliving that one. I've kinda been shyed away from getting B/W though when it came out. I found all the new pokemon really weird looking and became disinterested. Do you guys still think it's worth it? If so, why? Also looking forward to the R/S remake next year(presumably).

it is so worth it you don't even know
I know there is a thread in the games in progress section but have all of you checked out the pokemmo?
I know there is a thread in the games in progress section but have all of you checked out the pokemmo?
Is that the one where it uses the firered rom? Pass.
Is that the one where it uses the firered rom? Pass.
It's pretty fun, but it did remind me that first gen was kinda boring overall.

Am I on the right track?
Not quite; Stats are calculated, not added. 4 EVs account for a single stat point at level 100, but, to see the difference at level 50, you'd need 8 EVs in that stat. In BW, stats are calculated after each battle, and not when leveling up or depositing the Pokemon in the PC. So, the numbers you see as "stat gains" are not stat gains per se, they are the stats, with the current EVs, IVs, nature and species, being recalculated for the next level. A Deoxys-A is prone to get huge increases in attack and nothing in defenses, even if it got a ton of Defense EVs in that level; and that shows even more in BW, seeing the stat calc changes.
Opened my first Dragons Exalted and got a Terrakion EX
I opened eight Dragons Exalted packs and all I got was disappointment. [editline]26th August 2012[/editline] Seriously, that's the only holo I got. And if you don't know how the TCG works, just trust me when I say it's terrible. I think. Oh well, at least Dragon-types.
[thumb]http://niggaupload.com/images/uMf2j.jpg[/thumb] Dunno what she's saying exactly, but I found this cute
Something about haagen dazs.
Opened three more packs, got holo Garchomp. Not bad. Still no EXs.
Started back on Soul Silver, remembered I was trying to catch Entei (already caught Raiku). It was sleeping with 5-10 hp left. Ultra balls wouldn't work. I was trying for a good half an hour before I remembered I had a Ghastly with Mean Look! Thank god for those types of moves.
Something about haagen dazs.
What I see here is that Snivy becomes more posh as he evolves, turning a head to the lowly ice pop that doesn't appeal to his stature anymore, forcing the trainer to find ice cream that suits Serperior's more regal expectations. Would also explain why the trainer is presenting the Haagen daz in such a manner.
False Swipe. Best attack for catching Pokémon.

You don't want to soil the name of a Pokemon that can slice big ice floats into pieces. with it's shield sword arms.
False Swipe. Best attack for catching Pokémon.
We kinda knew that when the move came out. It's kind of it's purpose. :v:
From my limited Japanese skills, I can tell that she's saying stuff about soda, MooMoo Milk, and Häagen-Dazs.
We kinda knew that when the move came out. I think the true purpose of the comic is representing how snivy gets pissed because he can't eat ice cream any more because he has no hands.
I think the true purpose of the comic is representing how snivy gets pissed because he can't eat ice cream any more because he has no hands.
All of the Snivy line have hands though. Serperior keeps his behind his back, however.
Really? Mind blown
Really? Mind blown
[t]http://niggaupload.com/images/vAkxS.png[/t] Vestigial, yes, but they're still hands
