Too bad it's not as valuable anymore. Oh well, it's about fucking time.
I almost beat N with a somewhat underlevelled team. We were both down to our last dudes, my Flygon and his Carracosta. I use Earthquake, outspeeding him. It takes away most of his HP. Then his Carracosta uses Waterfall. My Flygon, hung in there. I thought I had won, since I could outspeed him and just use Earthquake to finish him off. But no, guess what he uses next?
If you guessed Aqua Jet, you are a winner. Unlike me.
That Flygon is shiny. He was traded to my game as a Trapinch and I started using him around Mistralton City, I think. His name is Sanderson, for some reason. Pretty fun to go through Black with half the team being non-Unova. Which is, by the way:
Musharna
Wailord
Flygon
Serperior
Gengar
Conkeldurr
Totally fun using these Pokémon.
if you were challenged by a Shiftry or Sigalyph, good luck

Odd...I pre-ordered both and got no mention of this.
I bought pokemon black version about two days ago, just beat the third gym leader with a level 25 Pignite named "Porky" and a level 21 Herdier.
I'd try trading if I wasn't so lazy and if i knew how to do it in the first place

It might be an Australian/New Zealand only offer.

Gengar covers both, but at some level of risk. Later I may try to rethink some of their moves for better coverage. I should probably give Wailord Ice Beam again. But I am done with the main story now.

never get a cofagrigus unless you're prepared to train it hard and teach it plenty of TM's due to it's lack of level learnable attacks
I think Koffing/Weezing should have a third evolutionary form. They could call it something like Haking and give it a crown (or similar feature) and a fully developed third body segment. Something like a very large central segment with several budding other segments of "Koffings".
Koffing was one of my first shiny's (maybe second or third), I caught it in Crystal.

My first Shiny was this cool cat right here:

which as everybody knows evolves into the super fucking awesome

On the first route. Luckily it was after I got Pokeballs. I felt really fucking cool because Ash had a shiny Noctowl.
In Sapphire I got a shiny Skarmory. No shinies in 4th gen, but I got a shiny Woobat in 5th.
Water/Steel is badass as fuck, that's a good enough reason
o don't think that'd be all that cool. you know, weezing fakemon evolutions are the most popular conceived and drawn fakemon of all. besides, it's origin for the design is like little spores that clump together, but dont get too big.

Something about this just makes it think it should be a good evolution for weezing.

Honchkrow is the best shiny, period.
I know I've already begged for PKMN the other day, but my friend saw what I did and went ballistic with excitement.
He just bought Black to counter my White. Anyone have a Bulbasaur and a Pikachu they'd be willing to give him? He prefers they are boys. He has work all day so I thought I'd cut him a break and do it for him.
My FC is: 5029 1738 8591 and you can contact me on Skype or Steam if you prefer.
More or less there's just a few pokemon which I'd like to see be more useful in the newer generations. The Koffing family was among my favorites in the first three generations, but they're very under powered now. Weezing has a reasonable set of moves and decent stats, but he's just got nothing to make him shine anymore. I feel like a lot of older pokemon have that issue, when with some help they could add much more variety to the (meta-)game.

I just remembered my friend gave me a free copy of Pokemon Diamond.
I really should try to get into it.

the pokedex in d/p/pt and b/w have said that triplets have been found for weezings.

My first shiny. Well, it was a vulpix actually but you get the idea.

remember to check to see when vulpix learns its last move, then evolve it!
usually, the stone evolutions make it so the evolution doesnt learn any more moves, except a few scattered ones. usually the pre- and post- evolution forms learn their last move at the same level, so, research the movesets!
Oh, that was like six years ago. :v:
On the subject of Shinies, I've talked enough about my Shiny Flygon and Krookodile. I taught my Flygon Draco Meteor, and God damn, that's one sexy animation.
Am I still the only one who has never found a shiny in any game?
:(
On the topic of weezing, someone came up with the idea of it being a poison/steel type with levitate based on a floating factory sort of thing.
Which would be the best thing ever. 2 Reasons:
1) Eviolite weezing.
2) POISON STEEL LEVITATE. BEST DEFENSES EVAR.

The only shiny I catched, on HeartGold.

Coincidentally, so was Chuggaaconroy's. He flipped out from joy, screamed like a girl.
I'm still waiting for Black&White 2 to transfer my Shiney Mankey I caught last month and start to train it.
I want to train it perfectly.
Coincidentally, so was Chuggaaconroy's. He flipped out from joy, screamed like a girl.
Chuggaaconroy's freak out is great. I've only ever seen one shiny a green zubat that I killed because I thought my game glitched in emerald.
David Bowie's song Heroes is great motivation for beating the champion.
I think the first shiny I actually had was a bulbasaur I transferred from Pokemon red to gold, I'm not quite sure how that happened. He might still be chilling out having been transferred to pokemon stadium 2
[editline]8th September 2012[/editline]
Wow, it's actually still there. Shame I don't have a way to transfer it to a newer generation. (I'm aware that all named pokemon in stadium 2 appear shiny, but this one was when in gold as well.)
