no USING legendaries
only use pokeballs on normal pokemon and premiere balls on legendaries

Holy shit I do this too. I don't bother with legendaries except for the version mascot though.
Using just Pokeballs are for chumps.
Use the ball that aesthetically complements the Pokemon.
I'm obsessed with catching the legendaries in every Pokemon I've played, Rayquaza was probably my overall favorite in Emerald.

Challenge mode just boosts trainer Pokemon by 1-5 levels and also adds more Pokemon to important battle rosters.
