It's a situational mindset when you decide to play it casual or wanting to plan ahead, for example the Pokémon I've posted above were first captures of their species that I really didn't bother checking their potential for competitive use until I went searching for a Zubat.
I know that EV training is going to be pointless at this stage (player-infuenced stat points gained from controlled battling for SomeDumbShit) but if the situation provides itself to me then I'll take it, getting good war potentials handed to me without any conscious effort.

B2/W2 is coming in the mail currently, but I wanna know if it's possible to transfer/trade Pokemon over from Black/White before you get any gym badges.
No, I don't want to trade over level 100 Pokemon and beat the game lickety split, I want to trade over level 1-5 Pokemon not available at the start of the game and have a custom starting team.

don't quote me on this but i think you have to have the first badge to trade
also remember you can trade eggs over and when they hatch they'll have the ot of whoever hatched them, so if you dont want to deal with the double exp/disobedience just send the eggs themselves over

Black 2/White 2 are direct sequels to Black/White, and are set 2 years after the previous games.
I suggest you get Black first.
Black 2 is a sequel.

I don't really wanna learn any of the details of the game, for me it kind of takes the fun away a little
when you know exactly what pokémon to catch and stuff and how stats are affected it becomes less of a game to me, half the fun of when I played pokémon sapphire was my ridiculous shit team that somehow beat the elite 4

i can`t be arsed with all that prokemon (my term for nature and Iv/Ev minded people) stuff i say play the game casually till you complete the story 100% then work on your prokemon stuff also vote informative if you got a female starter

im actually way behind on levels somehow, it seems like the game really manages to keep the levels moving upwards constantly so there's always some challenge

Blaziken EATS through the RS Elite 4, and Kyogre deals with the stuff Blaziken has trouble with. The only way that E4 is easier is if you pack a Lv. 70 Rayquaza in Emerald. And that has some slight trouble with having two members packing Ice Beam on everything.
I got the dream radar a couple days before i got my black 2, and needless to say i had completed it in preparation before i got the actual game.
Spiritomb, Ralts, Porygon, Rotom, Staryu, Starter is a pretty good team to start out with!
Also interestingly enough you could have 9 legendary pokemon before you even get to the second town. (not that I use them)

i took a break from training to try the rental tournament in the pwt
first attempt: doubles with whimsicott, simisear, audino and drilbur
comes down to audino/drilbur against liepard/sewaddle, liepard crits drilbur and audino is too shitty to do anything
second attempt: singles with gurdurr, samurott and audino
enemy leads with sigilyph, ohkos gurdurr with psychic, uses power herb'd sky attack and flinches samurott + psychic for the kill, audino spams thunder and kills sigilyph and then stoutland comes out and fucks up audino
third attempt: singles with swoobat/simisear/simipour because the rest of them were garbage

Well, during my challenge run, went against a triple battle. The enemy used lava plume and took out one of my team. The other 2 survived(samurott and garvantula, the latter was at yellow health).
I would be happy, but I did lose one(lucario). Fuck. Now I need to find something to counter the next 2 gyms(well, 7th one). Still going to keep going through the challenge.

Has anyone even managed to find a Sigilyph? I've only got it registered as seen because of a Trainer duel, I've been roaming the Desert Resort like crazy and can't find one. Got everything else, though, including Maractus and Scraggy, which seem to be rare as well.
Came across one, and only one, when I cleared the area for Trainers and Items.

This was the funniest moment in any game, it was a neat line in the anime clip... but after getting to know how insane he is its just silly. Especially since he calmly walks over to a grunt and just stares at him.
