Why's Pokémon always gotta hold your hand?
>first Gym, normal type
>LET'S GIVE HIM A FIGHTING POKEMON :D (ok admitedly, it's rare)
>second gym, poison type
>LET'S GIVE HIM A STEEL POKEMON :D
>third gym, bug type
>flying types are already common due to pidgey clones EVERYWHERE
>also LET'S GIVE HIM ROCK TYPES :D
>fourth gym, electric type
>LET'S GIVE HIM GROUND TYPES :D
>fifth gym, ground type
>LET'S GIVE HIM A WATER/FLYING TYPE :D
>sixth gym, flying type
>LET'S GIVE HIM ELECTRIC TYPES :D
>LET'S GIVE HIM ROCK TYPES :D
I'm guessing there's no Ice before Drayden, though, since everyone complains about that. Chargestone gives you the electrics for the final Gym, though I'd bet there's a bunch of grass types about.
I dont really see the campaign to be difficult unless you go for a nuzlocke challenge or something
and emulator mods can bump up the difficulty
i read about that, apparently gamefreak just forgot to have it set as a grass tile and it acts weird when you walk on it
come to think of it bw2 has an awful lot of little glitchy bits

So it's not just me who noticed this?
First day playing White 2 and I've already encountered something glitched.
Took an hour for me too find him in Relic Passage but I found a Drilbur.
I need a clever name for it.
Guacamole
Monty?
Henry Clay
Audino make leveling hilariously easy at low levels. I just traded over and hatched a tepig egg from White to White 2, battled a level 26 Audino with another pokemon and Tepig instantly went from level 1 to level 17. (At this point in the game, that means completely usable.)
is it possible to transfer pokemon from b/w to b/w2 with 1 ds?

Nope
Not aiming for a team to really take on other people and I know a lot of people say it doesn't matter but, I've never had this many choices so kinda want a second opinion
1: Lucario
2: Jellycent
3: Chandilure
4: Flygon
5: Ampharos
6: Vespaqueen (never used a bug type ever so figured why not try)

Looks pretty slick, and Vespequen is a fun Pokemon to use with its signature attacks (Defend/Attack Order are pretty amazing, but I'd use Roost instead of Heal Order). Although I would suggest swapping out either your Jellicent or your Chandelure for a Pokemon that isn't part Ghost, so you only have one Ghost type. There are a slew of other Water and Fire types to choose from.
My team is now fully evolved. I was so sick of Swablu.
I also picked up Rumble Blast today, just because.

How is it? I've always wanted to try it but I've been waiting for the price to drop.

oh my god gamefreak
I'm surprised it isn't a Youngster talking about his shorts.

This is my current in-game team I'm running with. (Or will be once everyone is evolved fully. Claytoy, Deino, Snover and Pignite came from eggs.) Any suggestions? Abomasnow is from the dreamworld so he's rather lacking, I'll probably replace him with one of his children post-elite four or with my shiny tangela from White.
Actually, your Dreamworld Abomasnow is a pretty decent choice, since the rest of your team isn't supported at all by hail (Unless you teach your Samurott/Genesect Blizzard), and a Pokemon that can throw STAB Ice attacks is always nice.
Tangela is a wise choice too, but for your team's sake, I'd use the Dream World Abomasnow over a Snow Warning one should you choose to not use a Tangela/Tangrowth.
Just talked to the lady in front of the Ferris Wheel.
Yeah, the sweaty one.
I wonder if she is still sweaty in the winter...

theres a trainer in route 21 who [sp]blocks the pathway with a bunch of roggenrola, demands you battle him to pass, is named black belt rocky and has a team of four lv44 sturdy roggenrolas[/sp]
why
[editline]14th October 2012[/editline]
also in opelucid city theres a guy living in the second floor of a house and his room has literally 5 or 6 tympoles in it and i think he wants you to give him another tympole
that is too many tympoles
I've just been playing Leaf Green, and forgot the frustration from my childhood when you get to the Elite Four and your team of six is only just at Lv 50.
It's just such a grind.
Oh my god, fuck you, Gamefreak.
There's a Doctor Trainer on the way to E4, only has a Clefable.

How the hell did Gamefreak think this was fun. Every time my Emboar woke up, its attacks would miss because the damn thing maxed out its evasiveness. Then, the damn Clefable would SING.

This went on for 30 MINUTES.
I only had Emboar, didn't have any revives, and I figured the Doc would be easy, so I can get my party healed and shit, but NO.
I only won because the Clefable ran out of PP and started using Struggle.

I'm having to grind my Vibrava more than I have ground the whole game. I really need to come up with a rock solid team.

Oh, so you can actually fight those repeatedly? I though it was a glitch or something :v:
Oh, so you can actually fight those repeatedly? I though it was a glitch or something :v:
Nah, after the first battle, I believe they ask you to fight them again.
Exit the area, walk in front of them, and they'll challenge you again. Sometimes a good thing, sometimes the most annoying thing in that area.
well i finished the plot and kicked the shit out of kyurem
it was just so unintentionally funny in all the wrong ways

oh my god no
pokemon you were doing so good
why would you do this
why would we go back to this
why
[sp]you need cut, surf, strength and waterfall to get through route 23+victory road[/sp]

I wanna catch a Mienfoo, but all the ones in route 14 have impish nature, and that's bad on mienfoo. I want one with mild, rash or quiet nature for an awesome glass cannon, too bad those are on Victory road and Dragonspiral tower :(
or are they? does the place you catch it have anything to do with nature?
also: does doing game synch with White 1 make a big difference story wise?
Also: what water type should I get? My main option right now is catching a dragonite somewhere and teaching it surf
I haven't played Pokemon in so long that I'm confusing myself with some of the design decisions. Why is the only way to obtain like an evolutionary stone to search for it? I've been looking for a Water Stone but honestly I have no idea where to look. I'm assuming they spawn in cave clouds and randomly with the finder tool but damn if it isn't annoying not being able to just go to a mall and buy one.

Vaporeon, Starmie, Jellicent, Seismetoad (meh-ish), or Lapras/Walrein would be good choices for a special-based water type.
