I haven't played Pokemon in so long that I'm confusing myself with some of the design decisions. Why is the only way to obtain like an evolutionary stone to search for it? I've been looking for a Water Stone but honestly I have no idea where to look. I'm assuming they spawn in cave clouds and randomly with the finder tool but damn if it isn't annoying not being able to just go to a mall and buy one.
there's some evo-stones in the Desert Resort (use the dowsing machine and look all over) and there's a thunder stone in Nimbasa City near the pokecenter (also using the machine)
Vaporeon, Starmie, Jellicent, Seismetoad, or Lapras/Walrein would be good choices for a special-based water type.
Is Lapras out in the wild or do I have to do dream world or whatever to get it?
Is Lapras out in the wild or do I have to do dream world or whatever to get it?
It's wild, but it's pretty rare. I think it's 5% chance at a surfacing fish spot. [editline]14th October 2012[/editline] Yeah, I just checked. At the "Village Bridge", surfing onto a surfacing fish/rippling water/whatever you want to call it spot. Levels 30-40.
well i finished the plot and kicked the shit out of kyurem it was just so unintentionally funny in all the wrong ways [editline]14th October 2012[/editline] oh my god no pokemon you were doing so good why would you do this why would we go back to this why [sp]you need cut, surf, strength and waterfall to get through route 23+victory road[/sp]
I only used [sp]surf. MAYBE strength, like once, but I don't think I did.[/sp]
So I got an idea from reddit that I'm slowly working on. Anyone like playing ROM's? [t]http://i.imgur.com/44N0u.jpg[/t] (going to vectorize the GBC myself, took the photo myself as well)
I don't get it, are you going to make a border for playing roms or something?
Desktop background, most likely. Unless someone knows how to make a VBA skin or something to that effect. There's plenty of images floating about of the GBA screen and all, but they're compressed JPG's which makes it hard to customize for color, or for resolutions. Basic idea came from a reddit thread where the link was this picture. I'd basically like to recreate it, but higher quality. And I found a program to get rid of program borders.
lmao this doesn't sound like pokemon at all
I think it does, and damn is it awesome.
Does the line choices for the movies affect getting the weird ending(example: picking the good line choice, but being defeated in 7 turns)? Also, still trying for 7th gym, its gonna be harder since I already lost a few good teammates and don't have any ice type attacks.
Is there any way to do a key swap/link thing between a classic DS and DeSmuME? I own Black 2 and want to get Regigigas but I know nobody within a good hundred miles of me that will own White 2, and to my knowledge the only way to key swap is via IR.

I'll check tomorrow if I can think of it
How is it? I've always wanted to try it but I've been waiting for the price to drop.
If you liked the original, get it. If you didn't, don't get it. If you know nothing about the first one, it is very, very simple. It's not going to be for every Pokémon fan, but it's an alright time killer. I personally like it, but I'm not going to recommend it to everyone.

I haven't ever played the original, but I've had my 3DS upwards of almost a year, and very few games, I mostly buy downloadable titles so sometimes I look for ways to find games for it.
What level should I be for the Pokemon League? I've got everyone up to 60 but I feel like that's probably not going to be enough due to how grind heavy this version has been. (Which is kind of a negative in my book but whatever)

Pretty cool how you can catch N's pokemon.
Riolu rapes everything.
Riolu rapes everything.
Just remember evolving it earlier, you get a wider move set to use.
Just remember evolving it earlier, you get a wider move set to use.
I'm trying.
Also that Yancy 'woman' who calls you once you pick up that lost XTransceiver. Anyone else getting a bit of a pedophile vibe? "Just so you know... I'm a girl. Tee hee"

Eventually after she calls you so much you get to trade a ton of pokemon with him/her for any pokemon in return.

Current team after just arriving at Mistralton. Mach/Gabite Lv. 34 Rapier/Gallade Lv. 31 Heron Jr./Larion Lv. 34 Spirda/Galvantula Lv. 36 Sol/Litwick Lv. 34 Erie/Crawdaunt Lv. 33 (all male somehow) I'd say I'm doing okay. Kept struggling at Clay though, I forgot to bring any healing items and that place is a huge maze so I didn't feel like finding my way back out but I kept losing so I eventually spent 10 minutes finding my way back out, buying a ton of hyper potions, spending another 10 minutes getting back to him, and then I ended up beating him without having to use any of those hyper potions I bought. :l [sp]That fucking Excadrill was most of my problem...[/sp]
I managed to make it to the fight with Cynthia with the Elite Four. I want to make sure I beat her, because I don't to fight through everyone again. I'm not sure I can make it though. Ugh, I'm probably gonna have to go through them all again.

Traded over, can't get those ones that early in the game. [editline]16th October 2012[/editline] Or started as eggs.
Hugh is overflowing with rage, just how long into the game will he run out of it.
