I wanted to trade with my friend who moved away, but I can't get into the wifi club. And when I try going into the connection thing, my 3DS is telling me the security my network uses aren't supported.

change your password to WEP or WPA. if I'm not mistaken those are the two that DSi and 3DS accept.

Pearl will only work with WEP, apparantly. I don't know how to change the password.

Emerald adventure continues. I just got out of Fortree City Gym, Winona is beaten. My team at this moment is:
-Wobbuffet - Lv. 24
-Swellow - Lv. 31
-Gyarados - Lv. 28
-Marshtomp - Lv. 35
-Kirlia - Lv. 24
-Gloom - Lv. 26
Not many changes since my last post. Maybe just that Wobbu instead of Sableye.
I still feel like my team isn't well prepared for ANYTHING. Should I change that Gyarados or something? It kinda makes me feel like a cheater.

This annoys me, and is the reason that I don't go online, or trade, the fact that I have to change my connection type. I don't like the fact that I have to change it to a less secure encryption type, actually I wouldn't mind as much if it was easy. Although I do only have to change some setings, I also have to explain it to my parents and get permission. I doubt I would though.

I'm pretty sure each and every one has a way to get around them. Most of them include just walking on the furthest possible tile from them.

I swear the one above the big city (Castila) will randomly run at you from the entire distance sometimes. It's still annoying though, I'd rather just have the rematch feature where you can talk to a trainer and set one up or something
