Finally managed to find my DS Lite only to discover that my Platinum version is broken so I need a new Pokemon game since they're my only reason for owning a DS.
This may be a dumb question, but what are main difference between Black 2 amd White 2?

Same as always, different pokes in different areas, small changes mostly.
The big ones are what legendary you get, it also affects whether you get regice or registeel (but if you have a friend with the other version you can get both)
Also you can get a shiny dratini or a shiny haxorus, depending on version.
Can't remember which game goes with which though.

This, this I am actually slightly proud of, the muddy empolian looks a little crap, and the gas infernape is just a novelty, but I think having a bloom torterra in game would be badass, like in the spring it could change colour and go into blossom.
