I don't know why, but I always have a problem beating Clair. Her Dragon types are too fucking bulky for my Shellder, and I can't really get any other dragon types. Doesn't help that her Pokemon are 4-5 levels higher than me. Not really my fault that all of the trainers prior to her gym had pokemon in their late 20's.
Sneasel works well to sweep dragon type trainers in game if you can get it. If you're playing HG/SS get a Weavile and it'll be easy. Not sure if you can get either before the end of the game though. (If you could trade that would help.)
Heavy Slam is based on weight difference, not total weight, and so is not that great; Iron Head is more consistent.
it is if the pokemon that learns it weighs like 700lb like aagron
it is if the pokemon that learns it weighs like 700lb like aagron
Depends if it's for in game or for online. Commonly used legendaries and pseudo- tend to weigh a lot
it is if the pokemon that learns it weighs like 700lb like aagron
You could also get a DM Aron to double the weight.
Heavieast pokemon was Groudon, heaviest thing in Pokemon games is 'M.
Wow, no one's posted this yet? It's coming... Too bad they're local events, much less in Japan. At least this is evidence of what is too epic to name... Also:
Yeah, it does suck that most events that are actually good and involve badass legendaries or something besides crap is mostly in Japan. Plus, you have to buy it again I think.
It's the fact that you have to leave the house to go to someplace far from home just to get it. Jeez.
It's the fact that you have to leave the house to go to someplace far from home just to get it. Jeez.
Then you gotta like, interact with people. shudder
:/ Anyway, [sp]I just beat Benga on Black 2 and got my shiny Gible, what should I trade it for?[/sp] My targets are: Charmander, Squirtle, Caterpie, Ekans and Joltik. Or any of their evo's.
Anyone here know of Blaze Black and Volt White? They're basically 649 hacks/mods for Black and White. Creator also came out with BB2/VW2 for B2/W2... and now I'm scared. In BB2/VW2, he gives you the Easy Mode and Challenge Mode keys right off the bat. You get them before you even get your first Pokémon. Which is awesome. I want to be challenged a bit more. But, if you didn't know, he already edits and ups the levels of Trainer and Gym Leader rosters to where they're on your level if you train (not grind), rather than 5-10 levels above them. Which is nice, until you realize that Challenge mode levels Leaders up even more and gives all of them a full roster of 6... with what I'd say are pseudo-competitive movesets, abilities, and items.

I actually was underleveled pretty bad the whole game and I stopped playing at the top of Mount Silver with most of my Poke's at level 60-ish. Never did fight Red.

Challenge mode doesn't even do much since you'll inadvertently level that much quicker from the higher leveled opponents.
Why the hell would you not fight Red? It's really rewarding when you beat him.
Just sort of lost interest, I guess. I wanted to get my team a little higher leveled before actually battling him so I would stand any chance but the game just couldn't hold my attention at all any more. That reminds me, even though I started a new game in White I still haven't played it in too long. I'm gonna try doing that tomorrow, probably.

I JUST WANT A GALLADE :(

I've got this retarded problem with using DW on my white 1 right now. Sometime last year I tucked in a jolteon, and then apparently sometime between then and a few months ago (haven't touched the game in a while) I started a new game without waking it back up. A few days ago I wanted to tuck something in so I could memory link black 2, but when I log into my account it still shows the jolteon with my old trainer name. I've already tried tucking a different pokemon back in, but it doesn't change anything. Anyone know how to fix this?

It doesn't remember you if you start over.
If I ever need a Wailord, I shall name it... DUN DUN DUN... DUN. FREE WILLY.
If I ever need a Wailord, I shall name it... DUN DUN DUN... DUN. FREE WILLY.
Nah, name it Frii Wirry (Points to those who get the reference)

Like having Serperior be Grass/Dragon.

Been doing some training, so Kamina, Lola, and Pidge are a bit higher than they were (most notably, Pidge evolved and Kamina's got an extra 5 levels). I finally found a fucking Imposter Ditto. Finally. Imposter basically has Ditto transform as soon as it's sent out, rather than having you waste a turn to use Transform. It's its Hidden Ability, and you can find Ditto with it rarely in the Hidden Grotto in Giant Chasm. In case you wanted to know.
do hidden grottoes replentish? all i ever get from them is poke balls, and I'm curious if I can go back in and get something actually good
do hidden grottoes replentish? all i ever get from them is poke balls, and I'm curious if I can go back in and get something actually good
It takes a while, but yes. Sometimes you get items, or hidden abilities. Decided to get a laugh from the gamefaqs forums, apparently they think that some of those movie endings are dark/depressing. But still, it does have some funny moments. Also, some people who play at my college found shinies(one has a shiny charm, one doesn't), and I found none, just a virus that doubles EVs legitimately in black 1.
Bulbapedia and Serebii both say there's a 5% chance of regeneration for Grottoes every 256 steps. Serebii expands and says there's a 40% chance of an item, 40% chance of a hidden item, and 20% chance for a Pokémon... which sucks when you want to find a specific Pokémon, especially the rare ones. I may just use AR codes for instant regeneration.
