Hey any of you guys heard of Poke mmo? It's pretty cool and you guys should check it out
How many pokemon are in it?
How many pokemon are in it?
At the moment, it runs on the 3rd generation games (firered/leafgreen) engine, so at max 386. Not all of them are implemented yet, so only the Frered/Leafgreen wild pokes are in right now, with a halloween event that added some ghost and dark pokemon from gen 2/3 that aren't availbale in the wild anymore.
Been thinking about picking pokemmo up but I'm scared GF will drop the cease and desist bomb.
They removed the halloween pokemon and added some other, feebas (no way to evolve yet), Teddyursa, spinda, Pineco and the 1, 2 and 3 island so magmar and ponyta as well. It's nice in the way that, it's social yet the game is almost exactly like the single player. Some things aren't implemented of course, like game corner but it's getting there. I've been playing since september and I don't think GF are going to touch it for a while.
Hold on to your butts: http://bmgf.bulbagarden.net/f323/game-freak-promise-expand-pok%C3%A9mon-world-next-year-144052/ You can expect tons of Gen VI hints next year, most likely new pokemon in the Genesect movie.
oh dear
yes good now give me my goddam wolf pokemon you can't get to nearly 800 freaky animals without a single goddam wolf
Jesus man, this soon?
I want a dunsparce evolution. seriously. It's a motherfucking flying snake, how can you not come up with something amazing for it to evolve into?
Jesus man, this soon?
It's going to be 3 years of Gen V in october or so, but yeah, I hope this new year is going to be full of hints, announcements or even trailers, and the games themselves come out in 2014 (most likely spring) or even a bit later, it seems like a more appropiate release date. I don't really want them to rush everything or launch the game too soon, but they're probably trying to get advantage of the 3DS and hype people up. Well, we'll see how things turn out in the future v:v:v I'll be looking forward for any new announcement, specially in regards of new pokemon or characters.
I haven't even played Gen V yet :v:
well no gen3 remakes in gen5, but hey, that means the gen6 version of hoenn will be even more awesome! Hopefully they add more good characters, N and Colress are the two best characters in pokemon to date imo.
While my computer was out of commission, i got a lot more playing time with my Black 2, and am struggling to get a definite team together...
Is there any way you can rename or give a nickname to your pokemon after you decided to stick with default name in Pokemon Black and White?
name rater?
I'm just getting back into pokemon so I don't really remember a lot of stuff. But thanks.
While my computer was out of commission, i got a lot more playing time with my Black 2, and am struggling to get a definite team together...
Pick 1 or 2 pokemon. Build around their weaknesses/strengths. E.G. I run a special bulk Gallade with bulkup. He's weak to status (any and all) and he's slow, he also has issues with powerful physical moves (before he sets up) So his teammates are: Roserade with Aromatherapy to fix any status and set up spikes (they help a lot) A skarmory to set up stealth rock, tank physical hits all day, also resists dragon moves, is immune to ground and resists both flying and ghost (all 4 of those types hit gallade hard, ghost/flying are super effective and ground/dragon have the best phys attacks in the game) also phazing with whirlwind. A good pursuit user to deal with fast ghosts that plague poor gallade (COUGH GENGAR) And other pokemon to fill certain niches (e.g. Kingdra to kill off opposing rain teams, gallade can tank special but he can't tank hydro pumps in rain.) Crobat for stalling, taunt and other stuff (toxic/roost/taunt/superfang with speed and HP investment) Once gallade gets going he dismantles most teams, if he runs into a problem his backup is there to help out.
I'll call that "rolling stone" plan.

I'm sort of in a pickle here. For Christmas, my parents got me a 3DS, but it's the XL version. It's unopened, so I'm wondering if I should return it and get just a regular 3DS, or if I should keep it. I don't really play too many other DS games than Pokemon, and all I really wanted the DS for was upcoming games, and the AR dream radar thing. What do I do? [editline]25th December 2012[/editline] Nearest store is about an hour away
Keep it. 3DS plays all DS games, right? And you can't go wrong with the XL's sexy larger screen.
Keep it. 3DS plays all DS games, right? Does anyone else get their ass handled when they fight in Crystal's Pokemon Tower?
Same with battle subway or any battle tower. I have an elite team of 3 OU pokemon, bred with 3-4 max stats each, EV trained with competitive movesets. The game always manages to find my one weakness (usually 5 crit+flinch earthquakes in a row, yes earthquake, he must have had kings rock) But that's what you get, the AI isn't smart enough to outplay you properly, so gamefreak just made them cheat, they know your moves, they know your team, they know your weaknesses.
I got a DSi for Christmas and I ordered White 2, arriving on Friday. I haven't played Pokemon since Gold Version. What awesome stuff can I expect? (Aside from all the crazy new Pokemon :v:)
