And it has Sturdy. Well fuck, that's typical. Thought about keeping it as Sturdy is more useful outside of wifi, but I shouldn't settle for less.
Snivy's evolution tree is the most overrated starter tree ever.

If it's B2/W2, he may not be able to. You can't breed until post-E4, and if he's not that far yet....
Also I hated their decision to not allow you to breed until post-E4 in 2, when you could do it after your first badge in 1. :/

The very first Riolu I found, and mind you, it was the second Pokemon I found at the Ranch, was an Adamant one. And my Zekrom, caught with the Quick Ball I threw at the first turn, was also adamant. Oh, and I once had a repeated shiny, and have found at least one natural shiny per gen since they were introduced. And wasted no more than 10 balls catching any legendary in all of gen V. So I guess I am a lucky son of a bitch.
Also, Sturdy Magnemite is awesome for in-game; its special defense is not really something to write home about, and there is no real reason to prevent Steel fleeings. I think I would have had an easier time if Magnemite/ton/zone wasn't OHKOed in some key moments.

Holy fuck this game is actually difficult, unlike all the other pokemon games I have played (diamond, emerald, and red). First game I have been genuinely stuck in.
Stuck at the elecrtic gym. Fucking volt switch and emolga fucking up my servine. My best pokemon, my lvl 29 mareep, is totally useless. Riolu is a fucking cunt nugget that wont evolve. My magby is 4 levels off from being magmar. Struggling to find a good place to train/catch a good pokemens.

In the Desert Resort you can catch Trapinches that learn Rock Slide at level 25, and Sandshrews that have magnitude and can learn dig.
Training areas are pretty decent around Nimbasa City, with trainers in the small and big stadium that you can fight everyday along with Liepards that give out good EXP that are found on the routes to the right and left of it.

i'm up to the flying gym, which means i have to grind my jolteon as i only got it recently
though my arcane pretty much solo'd all the electric gym.
dreamworld is seriously poorly implemented. And the 1 hour limit just makes the 50 year long loading screens worse.

you can really only make use of 40 minutes, tops, though. seriously, after the 40 minute mark, Pokémon stop appearing in the Island of Dreams.

I find it annoying that you need to tuck in a pokemen, do the island shit, then wake up the pokemen, then tuck them in again to utilize the full hour. And we all now how slow nintendo WFC is.
You should be able to make multiple trips with one tuck in.
But yeah i got a whismer and aron via dreamworld, gonna train aron because he is cool.

So I just beat the E4/champion in B2 about an hour ago, and just turned it back on to explore the postgame stuff.
I check out Pinwheel forest, and find the place where Cheren joins you to walk around.
After the first trainer battle you face after he comes with you, I decide to look around the tall grass to see what kinda
'mons I can find around here.
