I think it was around my 70th time(around there) I finally got Shiny Rayquaza to appear, chucked my Masterball, and basked in its glory.
I say this a lot, but I'm proud of them, as I have moved Charizard through every GBA game, and every DS game to Black 2, and Rayquaza from Emerald through all the DS games to Black 2.
I'm so hyped for the new game(s) for 3DS, my Charizard would have been through over 10 games by this point(if 3DS even allows importing of previous Pokemon from DS, I hope so).

I'm almost certain it's bullshit, and the logic is simple. Repeating generations in main series games would be cool, but it would limit potential remakes in the future, they haven't even made a gen 3 remake yet - why would they merge the gen 3 and gen 4 remakes into a single game? It doesn't make sense from a business perspective. (Think about how much money they would have to drop into a project of that size, and the money they would lose from not being able to make two remakes rather than one.) Also why would they drop the ever-successful two-version model?

If it is to be believed that this... thing is going to be for the 3DS, then I think it's safe to say that there's no longer going to be a four way directional movement system. For those of you with a 3DS, go ride your bike with the circle pad.
Unless the circle pad is just used to move the camera or something.
What saddens me though is that the Dex 3D models are probably a huge hint that they're doing away with the sprites. I'm probably one of the few who actually likes the sprites, especially with the animations now. The games sort of had this charm to them that I personally feel they might lose with a completely different graphical style.
But, that's really trivial. I'm just hoping Pokémon remains Pokémon. And that would be the turn-based RPG we all love. I don't really think we're in any danger of this changing, though.
3d models might be good if done correctly. I would personally like it.
but I honestly cant see nintendo modeling 600 pokermen + the 100-200 from the new region + pokeballs/attack stuff/trainers. And then animating ALL of that. That is a metric shit ton of work.

Eh, they've already got models and some animations for all of the current Pokémon. It doesn't seem too unlikely. The new Mystery Dungeon game uses these models, too.

Looking for either a Modest one so I can evolve it into a Magnezone for an electric Powerhouse, or a Calm one so I can have a bulky Eviolite Magneton with an improvement on its not-as-amazing Special Defense.
Magnet Pull is the ability I'm after. Even if Sturdy is much more useful in non-comp play, it feels wrong for a MAGNET Pokemon to not have MAGNET pull. Call it a quirk of mine.

Sprite-based included all Pokemon but one or two events. Model-based MD included less than half of the Pokemon. Fuck models if that's what they mean.
