When was this next gen annouced along with the new starters?
I'm looking at my DA and there is a shitton of people posting fanart already.
Okay, so skipping back to Generation V for a second, I need ideas for my Samurott in White 2. It's level 45 and currently knows Slash, Surf, X-Scissor, and Revenge. I definitely want to keep Surf and X-Scissor, and I want to fit Ice Beam in there. Any recommendations?
Depends on what the rest of your team looks like. Slash in general is less worthwhile, but revenge probably isn't the best option you have because it's unpredictable.

This morning, very early.
I'd get rid of Slash, a Fighting move is useful and Samurott's speed is pretty bad. Also, if you want, you can always get Megahorn to replace X-Scissor.
That's exactly what I was thinking. Although I never really considered Megahorn because of the low accuracy. I'll think about that. Thanks!
Another problem I'm having is with my Zoroark. I ultimately want it to know Aerial Ace, Flamethrower, Shadow Ball, and some Dark move. I'm caught between Night Slash and Foul Play. Foul Play is great because I can use the opponent's Swords Dance/Dragon Dance against them, but I like Night Slash because I don't have to rely on the opponent having a high attack stat if I want to do any damage.

Revenge has served me well so far. It's also the only Fighting move I have for the moment. I have two variations of Slash on my team (Leaf Blade and Night Slash) that get STAB, so I'll probably get rid of that.

Night slash is nice if you're not going to be playing online (at the moment, given the level you gave you probably won't for a while). In game trainers don't use swords dance very often (usually better to just speed kill them)
Please have a new serpent type.

And here we go again, that peace of mind went away quickly.

I'm hoping to see a few new fire types and some new turtles. I've been disappointed they haven't improved the viability of poison types before. I want to have a (pure) poison type which is actually strategically viable. (I'll keep my fingers crossed for a weezing evolution and new moves)

Froakie has the best fanart.
I wonder what Chespin art is like.
I'd be tempted to pick froakie solely to said "GET OUT" every time i win a battle but i'd probably pick fennekin because i like fire types.

Lovely Gen VI wallpaper I found whilst browsing deviantART.

Ah, okay. That's what I was leaning towards. Thanks!
god i need to know what they evolve into
this is killing me
if fennekin looks like shit, i'm going to be pissed.
fire physic does sound pretty darn cool though.
(you KNOW it's gunna be physic, that attack oozed physic mind-fuckery.)
This might be the one game that breaks my chain of always choosing a Fire-type starter first playthrough.
I never liked fox pokemon.
2 shinies in one day?
How the hell do you do that.
Luck, huge luck.
And the shiny charm.

I'd give it Night Daze, or Dark Pulse instead of a Physical Dark Move. Zoroark's Special Attack is higher than his normal. But if you don't want to wait until level 64, Night Slash is your best bet.
Less. Doesn't surprise me though, after the B2/W2 announcement it took like 20 minutes for photoshopped porn of the female protag to show up.
Dude, dose [sp]hair[/sp] buns.
Luck, huge luck.

Can I have some of that shiny charm? I havent found a single one ever. And i've played every game since Silver.
Anyone else in that boat?
Wait a minute, Chespin has normal-fingered hands and two big claws on the feet, right?
It seemed like a sloth kind of thing to me at first, but now that I see the tail it could also be another kind of creature:
You know another kind of mammal that has feet with two big-clawed toes? And has an abmormally muscular tail too?
Kangaroos

Grass/Fight boxing kangaroo thing anyone?
Maybe I'll have to eat a shoe once the final evolutions are revealed and don't turn out as either of those theories, but I think it could also be a cool possibility.
Grass/Fighting kangaroo you say.
I'm leaning most towards the grass starter for this gen and that is definitely a first.
When do the evolutions usually come out for starters? It's gonna drive me nuts till they are out.
So I just went and bought a used copy of Platinum for cheaps
I start it up and check out what was on it
800+ master balls sacred ashes full restores ect
Sadly the only pokemon left worth keeping on it was a Steelix
Still, nice find. I'll probably have the patience to get 50 of those master balls off before I give up and just restart
Gotta love Gamestop

If your willing to cheat why not just use the codes yourself?
Welp, I believe it's time for me to buy a 3DS
If your willing to cheat why not just use the codes yourself?
I'm really not interested in doing so
It's too much trouble and I prefer to play legit, keeps the game fun
I mainly want the master balls to deal with bullshit legendaries
I made this little thing of my team because I was too lazy to find their animated sprites.

I think it will be good.
Of course, GF could troll everyone and make it a fire/fighting type, again. It needs to be psychic. Seems like it could be Grass/Dark, Fire/Psychic, and Water/Fighting.

I would like this. That way, at their final stages, they all have a super effective advantage on each other, and a not-very-effective disadvantage.
They almost did this with Gen 4, seeing how Infernape had Fighting over Steel and Torterra had Ground over Fire, but Empoleon broke it by being a Steel type. Sure, he can learn Ice attacks, but almost every Water type can, and he doesn't learn it naturally, so that doesn't count.
- IMO, breeding is already complicated i wouldn't like DNA splicing as well, besides isn't the player like.. 12 or something?
Actually a large portion of players today are outside of the believed elementary age demograph.

I also decided to take a look at quite a few Pokemon related Youtube videos and apparently some had an average age demograph consisting of 40 year olds.
