im just thinking of typing where poison dualed with something would rid itself of a weakness and have the poison part of it be useful
i'm thinking if it's paired with rock/ground/water, it'll be ok, but it opens up more weaknesses than it's worth...

dark is inherently a weird type imo, the japanese name is evil but it isnt evilness so much as it is stuff like thievery, underhanded tactics and brutality (which is why its weak to fighting since fighting tends to be more "proper and fair" physical arts)
a lot of dark pokemon tend to be vicious (tyranitar, mightyena), sly (weavile, shiftry) or thuggish and "dirty fighters" (scrafty) so i guess one way to look at it is that bugs are just too "simple" to really be affected by dirty tricks
alternately its the same reason why bug beats psychic, because bugs are a common phobia and dark-types tend to be more fragile and impulsive
idk like i said dark is one of those weird types

also everybody knows wobbuffet is the best pokemon.
I want them to give the Poison type some love. I think the only think it's super effective against is grass, yet there are so many grass/poison types that it completely negates it.

Okay, cool, they're building to some awesome little kung-fu ferret thing, neato.
But no, guy or gal, it ends up as a pink version of Jasmine from Aladdin if she were a weasel.
It doesn't even make any anatomical sense (I know, in a Pokemon game, but hear me out), its hands are behind those big stupid sleeve things.
I would have been fine if it had a male and female form, but I'm forever irked when they give something an evolution that is BLATANTLY feminine/masculine, no matter the gender (Lopunny and Machamp come to mind).

i don't think its really meant to be an offensive type on its own. it may only beat grass but it also has immunity to toxic and instant toxic spikes removal on switch in. there aren't really any offensive pure poison types that i know of, except arbok i guess, who isn't that good.

And Electross was alright...
But honestly, whenever I find myself using an electric type, it always comes back to Raichu, WHICH IS FINE, but I'd appreciate something new.

It's not so much intimidating as it is gross.
