Mienshao is pretty unique for being a speedy fighting type, not many of those.
That said, Conkeldurr is my favorite Fighting Type and third favorite Pokemon.

Scraggy/Scrafty has gotta be my favorite fighting type, he was a total bro throughout White.
I gave mine a Macho Brace, so it gained every stat except speed.
It's gotten to the point that a High-Jump Kick will KO just about anything in one go.

I would go nuts if they made a Dragon/Bug non-legendary. Those are my two favorite types, and I think they could make something like that look really awesome.

I sort of hope they make dual type attacks - for example steel wing would be steel/flying. A flying pokemon would only have a 1.25 stab, as would a steel one.
But a steel/flying like Skarmory would get the full 1.5

What if you use that attack against a rock type though? Is it super effective or normal effective or not very effective?

I assume it would be how, say, a Fire attack against a Bug/Rock type is normal effective, since Super + Not Very = Normal effectiveness.
So in that case, Steel would be super effective, and flying not. So it would be of a normal effectiveness by the same rule.
But yeah I actually kinda like that idea.

Wait, no, one look at it AND it's Pokedex entry should actually do it. It's a pretty guardian angel that can, at peak of it's powers, apparently summon a singularity. Shit's scary.
And mandatorily, like most psychics, doesn't apparently feel the pull of gravity.

It would add quite a bit of depth and change the meta game hugely. I seriously doubt the 3d world is the only major change in x and y.
Also moves like steel wing and fire punch would now make much more sense, typing wise.
Colosseum and XD are, in my opinion, the best Pokemon games that have been made, so I have absolutely no complaints about the move towards 3D.
Collosseum? Also known as the slowfest where every single battle lasts for 10 minutes, where you start in the mid-20's, the endgame is around the mid-40's, and suddenly you face an opponent in the 60's with Skill-swapping Slaking? And with the lowest pool of Pokemon, and least user-friendly training method? Oh no you don't, that shit made me hate doubles, and I used to love them (still, the smart battling, rather than just sheer firepower I learned served well; however, it felt forced).
