Heh got Black 2 today and came across a shiny Patrat. Been a while since I've come across a shiny.
I've been playing sinre the first gen. I got Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow. I've played I don't know how many times Gold, Silver and Crystal. I player Pokémon Ruby at the point where I can't even play it. I finnaly bougth a DS about a year from now, with Pokémon Black. I recently got Pokémon White 2. And after all these years, [I]I didn't saw a single shiny [/I](except that free red Gyaridos) in all the se years of being a Pokémon trainer.
What have I done to you? [I]Why?[/I]

I got a shiny Togepi from my Crystal version's egg :v:
Other shinys I came across (apart from the above and the free Gyarados):
Shiny Tentacruel in Ruby, I think
Shiny Ditto in Gold.

I've seen one shiny pokemon in my time, Red Gyarados not included, which was a gold Caterpie.
I found a Shiny Wooper when I was playing either Platinum or Diamond

Although I remember a story from years ago when I used to play ROBLOX. The gaming forum exploded one night when some kid discovered that you could use the Poke Radar to increase your chance of getting a shiny. Everybody spent hours trying to get a long enough chain to get a shiny. None succeeded.

Hacking some 'mons, what do you guys suggest for fair "I didn't hack these Pokemon with all 31s" IVs?
Close as I can get to 16 round the board is what I'm thinking, maybe a little more. 18 perhaps. Depends on whatever the PID feels like whipping up.
What's with the sudden influx of hacked Pokemon? Are you guys really that bored of the game that you need to put your Pokemon on roids?

It depends on the best ditto you have, IMO. If you have a perfect 31 IV ditto, you might as well save yourself the step of breeding it and just give it 31 in everything.

Speaking of which, perfect IV dittos take a long time to find in the wild. I spent about 3 hours before I found one, and I'm pretty sure I was very lucky.

none of my pkm are super levels they are average
there is no fun in roid rage level pkm, i hacked them all on level 1 at default stats
i just wanted my favorite ones

Honestly, it takes all the fun out of it for me.
I could see hacking to get something to round out the Pokedex (Jirachi, say), but hacking basic Pokemon that you'll actually use just seems pointless to me.
Half the fun of Pokemon is catching them and levelling them up

I believe so.
I could never get a chain over seven or so, and that was just with Bidoofs. Although I guess it would've made for an impressive HM slave.

I'll do my own EV training tyvm, I just wanted some event legendaries I'd never get otherwise to fill out my dex and play with against the E4 and battle arenas and w/e, all starting at level 1 and that jank

i didn't even notice at the time i was in a hurry to catch tornadus and i only noticed the different colours after i ran away
People who hack super Pokemon are just taking the fun out of the game, hence why I asked for a nice, fair, rounded IV spread as to not ruin the battles by making them piss easy.
I do understand people who do hack though. It may be part of the game, but gosh darn I'd be lying if I said trying to catch a low-encounter rate Pokemon with a specific gender, nature, and ability was fun. Especially when you have my luck.

I don't really have a problem with other people hacking so long as they aren't anything you can't get naturally. Although, I'd really prefer that anything I'm trading for online is legitimate.
would anyone mind breeding me a bouffalant with reckless ?, adamant or jolly nature if you want to, but as long as it has reckless i'm fine with it
seen as after i finish leveling my chandelure i'm going to level a bouffalant next
