Normal is best type starters will be: normal/fire normal/grass normal/water legendaries will be normal/normal 6 of the gyms will be normal types even the champion will have normal types
Sorta agreeable. Has only one weakness and immunity to ghosts. No weaknesses against most things coupled with high defense makes for decent walls. However, STAB reliant for massive damage as no strengths against any type and actually many types resistant.
I love normal types! especially when I get Whitney in PWT and my mianshao KOs all her Pokemon in one hit
So wait Primeape just returned to Oak's lab after becoming a champion with the help of that one guy?
I run two Bisharps with my two Scrafties. I give them random ass names. My Scrafties are called Junker and Thug Bug (Thug Bug has Dragon Dance and Drain Punch, a real thug), and my Bisharps are called Gurren (Like the robot from the anime) and Mazinger (Like Mazinger Z, another mecha animu). Clearly duo-sharp and my two Scrafties are the best pokemon ever. [sp]Until something KOs everything with Mach Punch.[/sp]
Scrafty is overrated as fuck
Does anyone here know how I can get an Everstone relatively early in the game? I know I have to get to Driftveil City to get one, but I'm afraid my Dewott will evolve again before that, and I don't want my starter to evolve into Sumarott. I'm in Virbank City right now.
just keep pressing b to stop him evolving
I always feel like I'm gonna mess up on that for some reason and he's going to evolve anyways lol.
Why don't you want to evolve it? Do you want it to learn its attacks as soon as possible?
Why don't you want to evolve it? Do you want it to learn its attacks as soon as possible?
I've got a feeling it has something to do with his avatar. But, really, I'm fairly certain wild Roggenrola hold them sometimes. I wouldn't recommend keeping it as a Dewott for the rest of the game, though.
Why don't you want to evolve it? Do you want it to learn its attacks as soon as possible?
Dewott is my favorite Pokemon, it's purely based on looks really.
I've got a feeling it has something to do with his avatar. But, really, I'm fairly certain wild Roggenrola hold them sometimes. If you're going to do it you can always use Eviolite instead of Everstone and focus on leveling up the rest of your team, I think you can get it in Castelia City, which is the next city after Virbank.
But Eviolite doesn't stop the evolution from happening, doesn't it?
But stoping evolution is done manually, where Eviolite makes unevolved Pokemon actually viable.
But Eviolite doesn't stop the evolution from happening, doesn't it?
You'll still need to push B when it reaches level 36 and forward, yeah.
In B2W2 they can only be found in driftveil city
I'm sorry, I can't read. I didn't know which game GhostProject was playing, until I read Virbank City just now. Yeah, you're out of luck unless someone wants to give you one. I'm going out of town in like, two seconds, so I probably won't be able to help you with that. Sorry.
Dragonair is so pretty I can't even So is Milotic.
I swear i read somewhere that Milotics don't like fighting they're neutral like Switzerland
I wanna buy my kid brother a game for his bday, and since gold was my first I figured heart gold would be the whole experience on steroids. My question is, which one would make a superior gift/first Pokemon game: hg or ss? Or are they p much the same?

Just went through the old shelf and found my old Game Boy Color along with Crystal! Currently playing Crystal, nostalgia-ing my eyes out. I may have been too young to remember the 90's, but what I do remember, I remember well.
Should I get HeartGold or SoulSilver? I really like Growlithe, Arcanine, Mankey and Primeape, but I also really like Meowth, Persian and Groudon. I can buy HeartGold over the internet for cheaper than SoulSilver, not including shipping, but shipping would probably even out the costs, and shipping should take around 1-2 weeks, when I could go get SoulSilver from EB Games and have it straight away. Most people seem to have bought SoulSilver, and I want to have Meowth, Persian and Groudon, but I also want to have Growlithe, Arcanine, Mankey and Primeape. Say I got HeartGold instead of SoulSilver, would someone with SoulSilver trade me Meowth and Groudon or should I do the opposite and get SoulSilver and trade for Mankey and Growlithe?
Hell, catch me a Meowth and a Teddiursa, and I'll give you a Mankey and a Growlithe for them :v: Edit: This was later than I thought it was
Hell, catch me a Meowth and a Teddiursa, and I'll give you a Mankey and a Growlithe for them :v: Edit: This was later than I thought it was
Too late. I ordered HeartGold off ebay and it should arrive in ~3 days.
The GTS is an amazing system while also being the most disgusting thing I've ever seen on the face of the Earth. As has been pointed out several times over the years, there are countless idiots on there who try to get Level 1 legendaries for something as simple as a Jigglypuff. On the other hand, I got Tepig, Snivy, and Mandibuzz within a day by offering two Oshawotts and a Sudowoodo.

And I know it's done to prevent people from searching unreleased pokemon, but I hope they get rid of the "you can only request pokemon you've seen on your pokedex" thing, it's really annoying.
And I know it's done to prevent people from searching unreleased pokemon, but I hope they get rid of the "you can only request pokemon you've seen on your pokedex" thing, it's really annoying.
Agreed. It wouldn't be hard to do at all. Just wait until an event is released or the Pokemon are officially revealed before you let anybody request or offer an event Pokemon.
Am I the only person who's really interested in the backstories of certain pokemon? Some of the stuff they talk about in the pokedex is really interesting, take this bit about Shedninja for example: "A discarded bug shell that came to life. Peering into the crack on its back is said to steal one's spirit." That actually sounds really interesting to me. How exactly did this thing come to life anyway? I really liked the pokedex entries in Ruby/Sapphire. They were very descriptive and it explained a lot about the pokemon you just caught. [editline]27th January 2013[/editline] I feel like replaying Diamond, should I?
I breed Snivy, Oshawotts, and Tepigs, and offer them up for whatever I need. I usually get someone within a day who does a trade.
