Physical/special split in Gen4?
Now THAT's sprucing!
The Physical/Special split was fucking awesome.
One thing that always bugged me
We've had a Fire-Fighting starter for the past 3 generations.
It was cool with Blaziken, it was alright with Infernape, but Emboar overdid it.
The Regis are p. cool.
but was in the 3rd gen game
It looked like he was saying that the 3rd Gen introduced Skarmory, because he listed it among a group of 3rd Gen Pokemon.

He was. He was quoting a post about the first 151 Pokemon, then started talking about Generation 3's.

Oh right, my bad.
Lunatone and Solrock then.
Medicham, the infamous Gardevoir [sp]and it's 46 000 Mary Sue fanfics[/sp], Seviper, Mightyena, Sharpedo, Mightyena...There's still options.
Actually, I remember soloing the entire game with a Mightyena. If only the 4th gen move split had been present in 3rd gen. Mightyena would've p. much raped everything.
i like pokemon

Reposting because I didn't get an answer
Quick question!
Say I need someone to show up in Black City to migrate to White Forest via Entralink to get said trainer's Pokemon to show up in White Forest to catch.
If I can't find that trainer in Black City while in Entralink, am I screwed till I restart the game or is there a way I can get the trainer to show up?
Not mentioning Flygon, the absolute best Gen 3 pokémon?
Pff.

Ice.
Ice.
If you're throwing Flygon at something that you know is faster than it and has good ice attacks then what the hell are you doing?

tru dat i'd be hard pressed to find a trainer with a flygon, who doesn't have a rock/steel/fighting/fire type somewhere in the waiting or an at least that type attack with a neutral pokemon.

Flygy is a pretty amazing scout. Really good at taunting out what would normally revenge it while U-turning out. Also a pretty flash revenge killer and occasional sweeper in a pinch.
i thought we were talking about PvE play...?
[editline]24th February 2012[/editline]
but i suppose it applies to PvP too, Flygon is pretty awesome
After testing it in 10 battles, and losing only one due to critical shits, I have created ze perfect team.

Flygon isn't fast. And there's this thing called Hidden Power.

Scarf. 448 speed. Fast enough for everything sans sand boosted Stoutland.

If you want max we can do a 40k vassal battle later. My LGS is reopening so I need practice.
Also flygon has 100 BST. With a speed nature and EVs it will do a damn good job at out speeding things, that or the scarf for the boost.
[editline]24th February 2012[/editline]
Its 100 base Speed makes it the fastest Dragon-type in OU, and with a Choice Scarf, it can outspeed and defeat every single user of Dragon Dance in the metagame even after a boost.
Neat.
