The idle animations are pretty decent, but it looks like the same animations for each attack, but eh, what do you expect.
It's to be expected, there's really no way that they could have very many animations for different moves, especially given the number of moves in the games. Take mew or smeargle for instance - certain pokemon have far too large of a moveset to have even semi-unique animations for different moves. At the moment we know there's at least 661 pokemon and 559 moves (excluding variations in move effects as with curse or secret power), imagine how long it would take (and how much memory it would take) to make unique moves for them all. I guess they could create an animation system which recognizes certain body parts and moves them in a certain way (e.g. the system would recognize a pokemon has bite as a move and would make them move their mouth appropriately).
Got my card binder together AGAIN, took some pics of the first three pages; From Top to left; Full Art Reshiram, Full Art Tornadus, Holo Hydreigon, Holo Reshiram, Secret Holo Pikachu, Dialga G LvX, Serperior Reverse Holo, Holo Emboar, Holo Samurott [IMG_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/Wg8jmvl.jpg[/IMG_thumb] Holo Aggron, Original Movie 1 Mewtwo, Holo Garchomp, Holo Dratini, Holo Electric Arceus, Holo Dragonite, Holo Delta Species Flareon, Holo Verizion, Holo Thundurus [IMG_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/mhAucxM.jpg[/IMG_thumb] Reverse Holo Giratina, Landorus EX, Holo Blastoise, Holo Aggron, Holo Kyurem, Holo Charizard G LvX, Holo Krookodile, Holo Excadrill, Holo Magnezone [IMG_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/e2mXOrz.jpg[/IMG_thumb] All of these I legit pulled from packs or got out of tins. Except for Blastoise. I continue my hunt for Lugia EX from Plasma Storm, though. I REALLY want it, not caving to buy it until its price drops.
I hope they have more cities like Castelia though - I thought it was amazing that they made something that felt like a proper big city rather than a city with a few houses and a gym. Also I have an old first-gen DS that still works as well as my DS Lite, will I be able to transfer pokemon from Heart Gold to Black using the Poke Transfer thingy?
I don't. Castelia City was so fucking hard to navigate, it took me an hour to find the gym just because you have to be standing at one specific spot to be able to enter.
I don't. Although I agree it was a bit hard to navigate, handy in game map like that one above would have been perfect.

That map has no legend though, how are you suppose to know what the dots mean? I never got lost myself, but I can understand how someone could. [editline]16th February 2013[/editline] One of the games had city maps on its map item, I don't remember which gen.
:/
Wow, that's so helpful. I love how it clearly labels where each major building is. Thanks for pointing this out! :/

Diamond, Pearl and Platinum did as well, I just checked on my Pearl. Open up the map, select the Town/City and hit the zoom button on the touch screen.
Wow, that's so helpful. I love how it clearly labels where each major building is. Thanks for pointing this out! :/
why not go to all the buildings and find out, since you're going to anyway???
So, I'm late on this, but I noticed your Pokemon, ones you caught yourself, will obey you, no matter what level and badge you in B/W and the Sequels, its traded Pokemon that won't obey I was using Pokesav to make level 100 Pokemon to cheat on a Black rom, I forgot to put in my TrainerID on one of them, and they would never obey, but the level 100s with the correct IDs obeyed all the time.
:/
That probably has to be the most useless map in any game I have ever seen.
but if you honestly can't extrapolate the basic layout of the city from that then I don't know what your problem is it's a long curved street, smaller streets converge into a center come on it's not rocket science
The only thing I didn't like about Castelia City is that it looked pretty awful on the map with the desert right above, in my opinion. Turns out that the Modest Shiny Samurott I bred quite a while ago has max Special Attack IVs. Interestingly enough, I don't really plan on keeping it, so I might give it to a friend or one of you guys later on.
I didn't really like Castelia city for the simple fact that it just didn't feel like a setting in a pokemon game. I prefer a beautiful natural world I can explore and find pokemon in. Larger village-like towns with better/more realistic houses (more than one/two rooms per dwelling) seem like a more logical improvement to me. An open world with fewer boundaries would be a plus as well. The town shown in the trailer suggests that they're having a least one more city like Castelia.
Gym was the easiest place to find in Castilian city. It took me half an hour of trying to figure out if it was blocked off or a puzzle or if it wasn't even the Gym before I got in.
I love to listen to some of these 8-bit remixes of more recent game themes. I should probably mention that the Samurott is EV trained, but I don't really remember what I trained it in. Definitely Special Attack, but I can't remember what else.

And I can't find any azurills with huge power. :v:

Oh what? I have to talk to other players to get spiritomb? And I can't even trade to get it either (No WEP connection). At this rate it seems like i'm never gonna get the national pokedex.
cynthia has one, so you don't need to talk to other players to get the national dex
Ah thanks! Does anyone have milotic in DPPt?
Ah thanks! Does anyone have milotic in DPPt?
I think Cynthia does too.
Cynthia pretty much just exists for putting the stupidly hard to obtain Pokemon in your Pokedex for you. But yeah, the method to catch Spiritomb is one of the dumbest things I've seen in a Pokemon game.

You need 2 specific pokemon B. You need to know FUCKING BRAILLE.
Good thing I have a Pokewalker, I'll eventually be able to get one from there.
At least it's less cyptic than getting Regis where you aren't told A. You need 2 specific pokemon B. Bought 12 packs of Plasma Storm, only got this guy; [img_thumb]http://pokebeach.com/scans/plasma-storm/14-moltres-ex.jpg[/img_thumb] 120 cards, only 1 EX. Tons of Holos and an Ace Spec, but no Lugia.
