what, it thought the release date for the game itself was october of THIS year??
yep it is. i remember seeing just last week when they had the new video of the eeveelution
Edit: So I finally got my azurill to azumarill... Just in time for me to think of another team comp. So far, this is the team I have on my mind with a set up of two physical attackers and a special attacker with a combo attacker. Accelgor would be the set up for octillery and my sixth slot, no clue what I'd put down. But I do have an Altaria in the making that could maybe fill it.

exp share for life
or do the classic, lead and immediate change to juggernaut
the only reason we've been getting an early pokedex is because people like Serebii importing the game and doing it himself using extrapolated data, since this gen is a simultaneous release, we probably won't see the pokedex for at least a week after the game comes out (besides the official one put out by nintendo that'll cost 20 bucks)
started going through fire red again for nostalgia's sake, felt inspired to doodle a pikachu:

It comes out October this year, it was announced when the game was announced.

AND DONT HATE ON THE MISTY PICTURE, I PERSONALLY LIKE THE DISTORTION AND ART STYLE
My favorite is the Leaf and Green pic.
I like the fact Ash has 30 Tauros, and when Oak sends him one, it's never guaranteed to be the same one. He bonds with a different Tauros every time.
For those who play the TCG, anyone have a good counter against this Beartic?
[IMG_thumb]http://www.sixprizes.com/wp-content/uploads/30-beartic1.jpg[/IMG_thumb]
A sibling has two in his deck, and totally turned our battles in his favor, as it doesn't require much energy for his first move, and Sheer Cold can stall my Pokemon a turn, plus Icicle Crash more or less finishes off anything I own(except my EX Pokemon).
I had 3 Giratina act as walls while I stockpiled energy onto a Gallade(where Gallade's attack does 20 X # of Energy on all my Pokemon), but Sheer Cold ruined my strategies.
I run a Psychic Deck with some Grass Pokemon as support.
What's the highest healthed pokemon card?
What's the highest healthed pokemon card?
Last time I checked it was Wailord EX.

He might as well only have 100 HP though, Dwindling Wave pretty much stinks up your whole deck. More than 10 out of 20 damage counters on that guy and he can't do shiz.

Holy crap, look at that retreat cost
Holy crap, look at that retreat cost
it's because he has a retreat that comes with a heal.

200 i think
I think i saw somewhere a really nice houndoom card that has weakness to fighting, but has a move that hits fighting types hard as fuck, would work well in a psychic dark deck i'd think
here it is, not necessarily a counter to the bearctic but a pretty good card nonetheless

Ever thought the real life consequences of things Pokemon can do?
Rapidash, for example, who can trample ANYTHING with it's diamond-hard hooves, possibly even diamonds themselves.
Houndoom, you get burned for life as the pain won't go away.
The depression Gothitelles go into when they see their trainer's life spans.
Jynx's creepy seducing abilities (according to the pokedex and so far ONLY the pokedex)
Jittering Porygon-Z experiences occasionally.
Have we ever had a FP Pokemon Tournament?
Like, put everyone's FC's into a pot, then have random matchups until one person is left standing?
Because we should totally do that at some point.

There are only like 10 people who play online on FP.
I play online, but I'm sure 90% of my team will be wiped by STEALTH ROCK.

Tiny venipedes naturally evolving into giant poisonous horned horse centipedes. Not only that, they can curl into a spiked ball of destruction and level buildings with ease.
City pidoves evolving into giant hawk pigeons, capable of creating tornadoes.
Little yellow fleas that electrocute animals to death.
Giant swarms of angry steel ants.
I'd be up for that. I'll get destroyed (and probably miss the tourney due to school and timezones), but it'd be fun to try.
My theory behind real life pokemon is that it would work, since most of them would die before reaching adulthood
Gyarados wouldn't be a problem, since magikarp are such shit that rarely enough of them survive long enough on their own to turn into a giant dragon
Iirc, aagron's pokedex entry says it claims a whole mountain as its own, do you really think there's that many mountains to sustain a large population? No, most die young or die fighting over a mountain.

Remember, though. The Pokédex is essentially being written by ten year olds. It really puts everything in a new light.

Except 5th gen they are about 16-18, so they have a better understanding of the world and the Pokemon who inhabit it.

Makes you wonder if some sort of natural selection is occurring behind the scenes. Maybe the reason some Pokemon are more common is because they survive better in their environment compared to others.
Bidoof must be super fucking adaptable in that case.

I imagine bidoof/ratata reproduce like rabbits, which is why they're so weak.
strength in numbers, not individual adaptability
