Oh guys I really want to play some of the pokemans but I left my DS et all at home not with me at university. I love how I've grown up with the series so much that the only reason I play my DS or might buy a nintendo console is solely for these games. I know you can emulate them but nothing beats the old handheld versions.
It's like competitive play really I suppose, I love reading all the technicalities behind party styles, abilities, IVs etc but I've not really got the draw to actually play competitively. This such a nostalgia crying serious but I miss watching the original movie when I was a kid or when I beat Brock for the first time with my Pikachu.
I'd love a Ghost Steel and a Ghost Plant. Even if the Ghost Plant mon is weak I'd still would love it.

I use this moveset:
- Will-O-Wisp (Or maybe Toxic if you want more acurracy)
- Protect (Combined with Pressure and using it every 2 turns it's really useful and annoying)
- Ice Punch (Just in case the enemy uses Taunt. You could also use Shadow Punch because of STAB and perfect acurracy, or even Shadow Sneak)
- Curse (As a last-resort thing when you don't have much HPs left)
You need pain Split.
Its a great move because of its lower HP.

I chose Ice Punch because of its decent Attack stat, but what you say it's true in a lot of cases and seems like a better option, but I'd choose Night Shade instead: Seismic Toss it's only avaliable in Emerald and FireRed/LeafGreen via move tutors (and in Emerald it's really expensive). Night Shade works exactly the same and hits enemy ghost-types (Which normally have low HPs too)
So I think I'll run Pain Split instead of Curse and Night Shade instead of Ice Punch (I'm using Will-O-Wisp already). About Trick Room, I though about using this move too, but I though Protect every 2 turns would make a better option for an enemy-frustrating strategy :v:

My current set is:
Willowisp
Pain split
Gravity
Curse.
I'd recommend switching gravity with seismic toss or night shade. Trick room is viable too, I have gravity because that's my teams purpose. Set up gravity and sweep.
Curse is surprisingly powerful, it ends stall battles, it also forces switches, and dusclops' HUGE bulk means he can usually take a hit after cursing.
