I kinda agree. There was some noticeable aliasing in the DS games, which was a bit annoying.
Does the DS support AA, though? If it doesn't support AA you're going to get jaggies no matter what game.

About this, a few weeks ago one of my friends showed a screenshot of pokemon white running on an emulator, first thing I noticed was how the screen of the emulator was bigger than usual and how everything looked smooth instead of pixelated, those damn filters

The DS has never been very good at 3D graphics, and even the 3DS has little-to-no anti-aliasing (2X with 3D disabled); but both are handheld consoles, so it's excusable.
The spritework for HG/SS is undoubtedly the best in the series. HG/SS even got the grass right, and it - as a whole - strikes an ideal balance between 2D and 3D graphics.
My issue with the third Generation of games is that their graphics - especially those of R/S/E - didn't even look great at the time. They were flat and uncanny; the perspective seemed slightly off and the resolution of the GBA screen didn't really allow for an increase in the quality and detail of the sprites.
Most GBA games with great graphics had either very stylized graphics or graphics with depth. Metroid Fusion is a good example of both of these qualities, it's very colorful and detailed - and the size of the sprites allows for that:

In comparison, here's a whole route from R/S/E:

Even adding larger shadows to most objects would have improved the graphics vastly.
I don't really have an opinion about the Pokemon sprites in R/S/E, they're okay.

Hey, not sure if I should restart my copy of white and perhaps do a nuzlocke. On my first run I kinda just steamrolled the entire thing with only emboar, and as cool as he is, it was really boring and easy. The only thing I have to lose would be the ~200 hours of time i have on it, because i can just dump the important pokes off on my friend's game until I start the new file. Advice?

From what I understand, one guy from the Spanish team pulled (or tried to pull) a prank on someone else's room in the hotel the participants of the tournament were staying by placing a paper-wrapped shit in front of their door. This causes a lot of uproar, the spanish team ends up having to pay a fine, then you know what consequences can an incident like this have on a "kid-friendly" fanbase. so Ruben ends up as the spacegoat and gets disqualified from the tournament

Of course Lance is a hacker. He had like level 50 Dragonites when they evolve at level 55 iiirc. Mind you there wasn't a place to find Dragonites in the wild so him finding them there is out of the question.
