so after 2 full boxes worth of shellder's i gave up my quest for a lax nature shellder and choose a relaxed one instead

I got one from the GTS randomly.
I almost got a shiny Ditto from the GTS but I had to go and quickly catch whatever it was they were asking for it, something pretty common but by the time I got back it had gone. Still, considering what they wanted for it I have a feeling it probably wasn't legit.

Thank you. It actually didn't turn out as bad as I expected. I really only picked Raichu because I wanted a Gen I and he's a favorite. Plus I couldn't think of anything else at the moment.

have a really dusty leafgreen cartridge, left to die when I found that firered was better.

Nice dithering too, although the normal pokemon sprite style is to have a black outline around the pokemon itself (I'd say the smoke wouldn't have an outline because it'd look much nicer that way)

I tried to make the smoke at the bottom have some propulsion to make it look like it's hovering but it looks alright like that. Could use an outline like the Torkoal sprite though [img]http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/media/upload/2/27/Spr_5b_324.png[/img]
