Same, I really liked Snivy and Servine, but Serperior just looks kinda dumb to me.
Emboar is a badass and Samurott is amazing.
I like both Serperior and Samourott equally. I'm just playing with Serperior in my second round.
i feel like i have to be a hipster with my starters
1st gen i chose bulbasaur, everyone else chose charmander
i didn't care i liked them all and played with them all
2nd gen i did choose cynda like most others, but i've grown to like toto more and more
3rd gen i was a sceptile fan though i've grown to like blaziken since then, never really like mudkip all that much
4th gen i chose turtwig whilst everyone chose piplup
5th gen i chose oshawott whilst everyone chose snivy
idk at the time of the japanese release I thought snivy was much more of an overrated pokemon than serperior
kind of grew to like serperior after beating the entire game with only it 3 days after release
1st Gen: I chose Squirtle
2nd Gen: I chose Cyndaquil
3rd Gen: I chose Torchic
4th Gen: I chose Piplup
5th Gen: I chose Oshawott
Water-type starter errygen
Pick fire always unless Gen V in which case take the mustelid.

2nd Gen: Cyndaquil
3rd Gen: Mudkip and Torchic (Everyone and their mother was taking Treecko and I hate it.)
4th Gen: Turtwig motherfuckers
5th Gen: Snivy

No. Most popular card game right now is Magic though. PTCG is kinda.. dated.
Well, if B/W2 take place after B/W. Then there could be a new region. 'Looker' the interpol officer in Platinum and at the end of B/W mentions
