Yes let's talk about how one pointless skill in a game is more worthwhile than another.
But some things help you progress better. 99 Agility is so fucking helpful, it helps with doing all sorts of crap by barely ever running out of run. Whereas firemaking is training for it's self. You can do the same thing over and over again and have no other real benefit. Except these days having the hitpoint boost.

As soon as Andrew and his brother left the board, it went downhill really fucking fast.
I don't blame the guy for leaving. Watching your game slowly get fucked over by investors and having no say whatsoever would piss me off too.
The cash shop idea was kinda nice, squeal of fortune is just downright stupid, and EoC is 5 thumbs up from me if I had that many.
Mad may was fine, but this new event seems kinda overboard. Granted, the content that comes out (That isn't money related.) is still golden, I think they really need to lay off this microtransaction shit.
Subscription games shouldn't NEED microtransactions to make a profit, and it only shows that the company is being corrupted by greed. Look at MapleStory, that game used to be half decent and then Nexon was corrupted by greed and tossed the game in the toilet, shat on it, puked on it, pissed on it and many other gross things to it before finally lighting a match, tossing it in and flushing the toilet.
I don't want the same to happen to RuneScape, because RuneScape was part of my childhood.
