Well, I've been flipping, but haven't had much success. I started flipping around 20m I think, and I got there by decanting (buy prayer pots(3), decant into prayer pots(4) and sell) which made some decent money for a while, not sure how well it works now. Then with 20m I flipped stuff up to about 100m, but I really cant remember what I flipped, I think it was third-age stuff (I prefer to flip a few expensive items rather than lots of cheap ones, but its your preference), but third-age stuff doesn't seem to work very well now. I just started playing again about 6 days ago, and im trying to figure out what to flip now.
I should clarify, I started flipping and made about 100m about a year ago probably, then stopped playing, just came back now and havent had much luck flipping :c I lost about 30m because I bought some stuff before I quit (AGS etc, to mess around with, with the intent of reselling in a bit), I just stopped playing and didn't sell them, then they crashed alot. Had about 80m and now I am back to 90.

I've also decided I'm going to see how well Facepunch responds to newbie help.
I'm setting aside 50k to help newbies. You need some equipment, send me a message in-game. However, everyone is going to share the same cash pool. You don't have to pay me back, but if you do, you'll guarantee I can help another user. If you pay me back extra, that's more help for others.
I'll be limiting help to 10k per person max. Message Agoat in-game if you'd like assistance.

Regarding the 'Newbie Gift System,' I am slightly concerned about having all the money stashed on one account, as people can suddenly disappear or turn against you. I am reminded of this from ejonkou's clan!
Here is my proposal therefore, we all say how much we can donate to the cause, and this is kept in the log alongside our names. Then when someone does need the money, they can contact one of the people on the list of donators. Then the donator trades the money straight from their account to the person. We can keep a list of those who have received money in order to avoid multiple borrowings and from whom they have borrowed in order to keep the books straight, and if they ever want to pay back.
I'd like your opinion on this, but if you want to stick with the other system, be my guest.

1 Million is barely anything at this point in the game. If you're that scared of having 1 million on 1 account just make a mule account and only run it on a VM.
