I have a weird relationship with this game.
When I first played it, like, probably 6 years ago, I had a bunch of fun.
Then I went on a cycle of either getting angry or bored with something and then stopping for a few months/a year, and then getting curious with what's changed, starting again with my old guy or a new one (since I was young and forgot passwords and stuff). Rinse and repeat.
The last playthrough was the end of last year to just before summer this year. This time I was competent and actually understood what was going on, but eventually got bored or forgot about my account or something.
I most always had a grand time while my interest lasted, but now that I'm older and have other things to worry about (the most notable being MONEY$$$$!!!144), I'm reluctant to get back into it.
Also, it's funny how, in 6 years of playtime across multiple accounts, I probably only ever made real connections with like 3 people, and those lasted less than a month.
In fact, my last character has probably said less than 100 words.

Im trying to get 99 att, def, str, hp, then go boxing at the duel arena, probably dumb but I am basically going to quit soon (unless I make loads). Ive got 99 str, 93 att 87 def and 94 hp. I went to the duel arena for a break from training. A guy who is about 5 levels lower than me challenges me, and I think what the hell, ive got an advantage. I bet 2m for fun. I actually win, which is good. I look up the guy afterwards, and he's actually fucking maxed. 99 in all melee skills. So somehow I beat this guy who should have beaten me statistically, and I had no idea how lucky I got. Extra 2m is always nice. Called it quits there though and went back to training.

I haven't been following along with the game lately, just been making sure my kingdom is going and stuff, but does anyone know if they are going to be releasing any new auras soon? I got an email and I have 130k points right now. I could buy any single powerful one right now or a couple small ones, but I'd rather save my points if there is any proof of some even more powerful auras in the future.

I miss this game, but I'm not sure I could ever go back to it, not after being away for so long.
I felt the same way, but I went back anyway, and its still fun, but it is quite different.

For fucks sake, the bank boosters cost 10 bucks each. They're coming to loyalty rewards aswell, but loyalty rewards are bullshit hard to get.

Most likely a lot better, considering Java is pretty redundant and outdated.

Having money troubles? Try this:
1) Buy 1,000 Flax for 73k.
2) Go to Lumbridge Castle
3) Spin Flax into bowstrings on second floor and bank on the third floor.
4) Sell bowstrings on Grand Exchange to literally double your money.
Crafting experience is great, too!

Improved version of Agoats method, for higher level people.
Do the same exact thing except at Neitzinot, its a handful of seconds faster and you don't need to swap floors.

When I was a member I used to pick flax. Then again, I was the only one in the field.
I just go to camelot, collect flax, go to the spinning-thingy next to the church, on the 2nd floor theres a spinning wheel there.
It took average 2~3 mins to do this:
1. Go from bank to field
2. collect backpack full of flax
3. on the way to bank stop by the spinning wheel
4. make all flax into bowstrings
5. deposit bowstrings to the bank
6. you're now again at step 1
All in one go, no need to teleport anywhere once you are in there.
