certain level requirements to use each lamp, EG to use the 350k lamp you need the skill to be 86+.
But you could just us the 50k lamp 7 times and avoid this.

Is this game still fun to play for a old player that doesn't want to pay membership or should I wait for 2006scape?
Not worth waiting for 2006scape, they can't really re-capture the feelng of 06 Runescape. Just play the real game, even if it's pretty bad in its current state.

you get the full xp in 2 parts, hence why theres a 700k lamp

So far i've got all I need, 15k in my money pouch and around 50k in my bank, it's all I really need to get higher level items for myself like Mithril and all that.
They must be desperate, they're trying to convince me to play for 14 days of membership, I'm almost willing to play again, I just bought a few months of membership a few months ago and it was fun but not the greatest in the world.

Every account gets 14 days free membership upon creation, and if you're a non-member aswell for a certain period off time. Resulting in people coming back for 14 days and the quit or buy membership and leaves F2P worlds empty.
I haven't gotten my free XP. :/

Just pick a skill, and max it, then move on to the next etc.
