To anyone wanting to make some quick money, go to "Vanligga Gastfrihet" in Jatizso and buy yak hides from her. You buy them 50-65gp each, and they are selling for 700gp on GE right now due to bonus weekend coming up. Can only buy 1k per day, but it's an easy 600-650k in 10-15 mins.

They seem confident in Botwatch, since they removed randoms. They don't seem to have done anything to RiD though.

It seems like the combat beta is coming later this month, After i completed the academy, It told me i would get my exp lamp in game in two weeks after the beta is over.
I love the beta, was happy to find out it's open to all now. I started a new character to see what levelling up was like, and while it's funner, it's really freaking hard to find monsters that are weak to melee and range. Just about everything in Lumbridge is weak to magic
I just came back to the game, the last time I played it was I think around 2009? I only played for like a month. My glory days have passed, I started in 2002 and I was much more prominent up until about 2006. Still fun to revisit it though, I like to see their improvements on the game.

Combat beta is unbalanced, nobody wants to fight anyone that isn't their combat style. Like melee-melee, so on. I can fight a melee guy 50 levels lower than me and he'll wreck me.
With the release date supposedly in two weeks, I dunno what they're gonna do.

There are no longer any actual feedback threads in the feedback forum. So many "Mod Mark is fat" threads.
Will people seriously refuse to change just because of this update? I sympathize with them on the fact that the old runescape will be gone, but otherwise I feel the community is just being a bunch of shit throwing monkeys on this.
It would seem so. According to Jagex, the majority of EoC feedback from the combat survey has been positive (it would be nice of them to post statistics though), yet just about every anti-EoC post on the forum is saying that everyone they know doesn't like the EoC and is quitting. So either they haven't actually done the combat survey or they are simply in the minority.
changephobes are commonplace in any online game.
thankfully most developers have learned to ignore them.
