I resubbed again when I heard that player-owned ports were released, but I'm really disappointed that you need so many skills around level 90 to even make it worth it, and at least 1 at 90 to even do it at all.

That's called phishing. I get emails from Diablo 3, and I've never even been to it's site.

Those can be spoofed. Check the email headers and it'll usually show you the real "from" address.
