I love daily challenges so much
Not just for the XP, I just like that it tries to stop you from continuously grinding a single skill for too long
Summoning Dailies give horrendously disproportionate amounts of XP for the effort required.
"Oh, you spent 10 minutes total on this challenge? Let's give you 8 levels!"
Not that it really matters. Summoning is a terrible skill as of now, and I'm glad that they're planning to fully rework it.

thinking about it RS is probably the few MMO's that quests are not fetch quests or mob killing, they're purely based on story.

God wars stuff will probably be available but too expensive to ruin the pvp.
Keep in mind they probably won't release convenience updates like rest and bank tabs.

2007 Servers will come back as a separate entity to the main RuneScape game, with a larger dedicated development team with no extra membership fee and the free portion of the game available to all. These servers will receive continuous maintenance, modern anti-bot technology if necessary and - crucially - regular members' polls to determine which updates you want to see prioritised.
I would really like to see this happen but you fucking know there's not gonna be 750k members votes. =/
Why does this game make you jump through so many hoops to log into an old account?
I haven't played it in years and I went to log in to see what's up. Apparently my account is locked and I need to answer all these stupid questions like "When did you create your account?" or "What ISP were you on when you created it?"
How the fuck should I know, I made my account in like 2005.

so how is runescape now days?
They havn't added much since September, people are waiting on the official 2007 servers for something to do for a while.
I won't be doing my character all over again but it'll be fun for a couple days.
I just hopped on to see what everything is like and all I have to say is that I am disgusted. The servers coming back will definitely be worth revisiting but idk if I'll stick around with it.
I haven't even touched runescape since '08 and I was just trying it out. It really changed for the worse imo, but I heard something about them releasing a version of it from '07. This true?

I don't see the appeal of clicking on enemies and watching them smack each other until one falls over fun anymore, so I'm going to stick with the new RuneScape. But I do continue to vote because one, it's nice to relive the old nostalgic RuneScape that I played during my childhood and two, to shut up everyone who thinks that the old RuneScape is best.

yeah, I don't see what everyone is saying is so bad about the new system
the ability book (and EoC in general) stopped combat from just being about standing in front of your enemy watching your character hit them until it falls over and occasionally clicking on fish to heal
I understand the hatred towards soulmans general ripoff, granted I've bought a few things from it too, but I seriously don't get all the hatred towards an innovative revamp to an old dry boring combat system. Even AFTER they made it so you could right click shit with momentum.
