But if I were to play, I would definitely get P2P. It makes the game so much better, it's unbelievable. Also, the game always seems so much more fun when you don't play it, but when you start playing it seems to get boring again. I guess that might just be me.
Right, i've heard mixed reviews about Runescape. and as soon as i have Broadband i will start playing. But i want to hear from people i trust - That's right, you guys - whether or not i should try it out and any tips? It seems like an awesome game. I know this must sound like an OP.

How tedious? I've played a lot of games with the usual grind for levelling. I also heard that Runescape has loads of skills to assist in levelling. Is this true?
Edit: Oh, and i know that Server 42 or something is the Roleplay Server. So any tips on naming? I was thinking of going with my FP name.
I've never seen anyone actually roleplay on RS. It's nowhere near the Roleplay community there is on WoW, that's for sure. Naming isn't really important, seriously. If you get a name without numbers, that's always best.
And here's a graph of the experience you need to gain levels. Hopefully this will show you how it starts to get stupidly tedious.

It gets to the point where it feels like you're just wasting your time, and it's just some lame ass grind. Not even doing 'fun' ways of levelling will make the game more interesting. It's all still a tedious grind.

I don't give a shit about graphical updates. Honestly I liked RS back in it's old 06 graphics. The new Tzhaar and Taverly/Burthorpe especially just doesn't feel like the game I've played for years. Also, the horrible newfound lag sucks.
The grinding aspect of Runescape is bad, but you won't really ever have to get max skills. Also some skills are much faster than others, and if you want to you can just bot.
That said, Runescape is the best MMO I've ever played. People talk about DC Universe Online and WoW but when I played them they were just fetchquests and shit, Runescape quests are actually worth playing.

I like the graphics updates but they arn't content so they get old quickly. Honestly the whole game should have been updated years ago, you could remake Runescape in HD in the time it's taken them to update small areas of the game.

It looks more like Dragonscale, also the coifs look more like hoods.
Overall it looks good I think, even though the new updates are borrowing heavily from other sources now.
I'm not doing bonus xp weekend, I could do it but I don't need any stats for quests and I don't feel like renewing this month.

Right, so it's for sure i'll be playing it. I also heard that you can get special Capes for when you hit level 99 in a certain skill. I also heard you get an Emote with it. Sounds like fun.

Good idea. I was thinking of sticking with Nimaratu. But i might swap that for something with Gumi in it.
Got my first firecape today. after failing at prayer switching due to many different problems, someone said to try gano tanking. cleared the cave faster than any other attempts and got an easy jad kill :D
went barrows for 5 runs after that and got ahrims and karils legs, about 1.5m value, plus the runes and racks

I can get over graphical updates, but jagex really needs to work on FPS issues more than graphical updates
