So is the Dragon Kite actually useful or is it another disappointment item?
It's barely better than a squareshield and has no strength bonus.
It's just fitting in with the rest of the armour set. If they made it super strong it wouldn't go with the generic Adamant > Rune > Dragon scheme. It was only so amazing because it hasn't been around until now. Same as people getting psyched over the full helm and plate body.
