I've played for a while happily now without botting and did from 2005-2008 aswell, so I don't need bots cheers. Just while they were easily accessible I took advantage of them. I don't buy spins, because I prefer splashing out on more worth while things in the real world.

either way, level 66 magic now and trying to get to 70. I've been mostly grinding the shit out of the blue dragon in the heroes guild dungeon but A. very fucking difficult to get a free spot B. Usually melee faggots botting it C. now I'm level 66 its getting longer to grind it with casting. What is a better method of training my magic to 70?
I'd say alching is the best way to train.. Sadly.

I think one of the things Jagex wanted to do was make training Magic through combat much better, as they didn't understand why you could stand around alchemising all day and somehow that makes you really good at combat magic.
But then you'd have to wait a few months. I trained Magic to 99 using the Mage Training Arena and made maybe 20m doing it. But that was botting. I guess you might lose money with alching but at least you don't really have to pay attention.

I love scammers. One offered to dupe my armour in the wildy, so I followed him. He told me to dig, but I didn't have a spade, so he gave me one. Apparently the dupe didn't work with ashes, afros, flags, or diamond jubilee hats, so I then left him there. Wasted about 15 minutes of his time, and got a free spade out of it, win win for me I'd say.
So I was doing Squeal of Fortune on my 10 hp, 99 mage account. I got a constitution lamp, thought it said construction.
I swear they changed the name of hit points just for this reason. They foresaw it.

Just keep protect from range on until he goes on his back two feet then switch to protect magic, you will still be quick enough not to take damage and that way you don't get fucked up by clicking the wrong prayer, Jagex were obviously lazy when it came to designing his animations...

What happens right, is basically whenever he does his mage attack he has fire around his mouth right? This always happens, and it never seems to do it with range attacks. So when I see the fire, I change to mage prayer, then when he goes up into what looks like a mage attack, the them slams his feet.
It always seems to happen like just near the end, after I've had the healers on me for a while. The green healing thing gets mixed up and there's fire and green shit and some random movements from jad and it all fucks me over. Every damn time.
Ranged: TzTok-Jad slams down his forward legs onto the ground, causing cracks to appear and a boulder to fall on the player (it is not possible to evade this boulder by running). When his legs crash on the ground, a muffled boom will be heard; the audio occurs before the damage is calculated and is far louder than the Magic attack, so players with quick reflexes should be able to easily discern between the two and switch to the correct prayer. Protect from Ranged must be activated BEFORE the boulder begins to fall; otherwise, you will be hit. This attack is also fairly slow, with an attack speed of two. With the update of 14 February 2012, [b]Jad sometimes produces flames from his mouth, appearing as if he is about to use the magic attack[/b]. He quickly stomps on the ground afterward, however, resulting in the ranged attack. This deceptive animation can be negated by watching Jad's front legs rather than his mouth.
