Waste lamps on skills like Woodcutting, Runecrafting, Mining etc. and spend cash on Herblore, Prayer and all that crap. I can imagine you can get a lot of levels doing that. And what limits you once you're 99 in everything and have an abundance of cash in RuneScape?
Except for the fact that they limit the amount of spins you can buy per week, and even if you get an XP lamp, it's in a specific skill, so the XP is scattered everywhere.
Or you could RMT with that money instead, which is more bang for your buck.

Account buying is very risky. Even with other recovery questions, e-mail etc. it's very easy to recover it back by proving that the PayPal Account/Credit Card etc. used to pay for membership on an account is yours. If you manage to prove that, Congratulations! You just recovered an account and mad possibly boatloads of money.

My xp lamps are 99.99% always the ones the genie comes and gives me when i do spins, I've only got one or two specific ones

Mine are either Cooking, Strength or Dungeoneering. And I got all three at 99 already.
I always get xp lamps in skills which aren't 200m cash reward.
Fuck just give me then money SoF. Ateast let someone win it before you bump the 1k reward to 500m, Jagex ;(.

I've recently started playing again after not been on it for years. I'm finding all the new updates quite enjoyable, so I think you should at least give it a try!

Read up about Combat Rework and watch videos etc. if you like it, that's what Runescape will be in ~2 months. But in general, it's mostly better.
I might start playing this again after a long while, and, what's the fun things in Runescape now? I just want some basic idea of what I can do in the game now.

I'm not sure why they removed prayer bonuses (I didn't even know they did), but think the reason they removed strength bonuses is because they figured it didn't make sense for armour to make you stronger.

The beta is opened for everyone on the 6th.
Also if strength bonuses are getting removed, I'm going to have to find a better set of armor. The Fighter torso/neitiznot/dragon legs probably won't cut it.

Anyone playing that new private server? 2006scape? Its got 200k people registered, sounds pretty cool. Its a remake of runescape from 2006, before all the shitty updates.

I would say become member from day 1. No trade limit, more and faster places to train also easier to make money fast.

Yeah it's kind of annoying. I kind of want to start a new account with a bunch of friends, but I have no idea what kind of things we could do in a team together.
Dungeoneering is so depressing :( It's also much harder in the beta so I'm trying to get my chaotic as fast as possible. Every 5 man group I find stay discussing which 99s they've got near the smuggler, they do jack shit.

It got hacked, and the site had blue waffle on it for like a week. I doubt it will be very good even though 06 was great.
I'm only really playing again with the goal of getting a green h'ween mask. Currently doing slayer(61) + combat (103 ~80 each stat) to try and get some good drops and whatnot.

Tested to see how many solo Bandos kills I could get in the Beta with my usual gear(torag) with soul split and turmoil. I managed 28 and I still had a full inventory of food + half in tort. Got a chest plate drop on the last kill. I've tried PvP and Bossing with the new combat update and both are 100x more awesome than the current combat. I haven't tried regular slayer tasks yet though. Will test that out tomorrow.
So I've been hard at work doing something absolutely pointless and a massive waste of cash for the past hour or so. But I'm happy with this.
